Thank you for purchasing this JVC product. Before you begin operating this
unit, please read the operating instructions carefully to be sure you enjoy the
best possible performance. If you have any questions, please consult your
JVC dealer.
WARNING
For your safety...
• Do not listen at high volume for an extended period. Do not use while driving or cycling.
• Pay special attention to traffic around you when using the headphones outside. Failure
to do so could result in an accident.
CAUTION
• Stop using the headphones if they are causing great discomfort or irritation on the skin
and the ears. They may damage your skin and cause rash or inflammation.
• If ear piece or other parts of headphones become lodged in your ear, be careful not to
push it deep into the ear canal and seek skilled medical assistance to remove the piece.
Damage to the ear may be caused by non-professionals attempting to remove the piece.
• Store the ear pieces in a safe place where children cannot reach them to avoid the risk of
a possible accident or hazard such as swallowing them.
• In dryer air conditions such as in winter, you may feel some static shock when using
the headphones.
• When in use you may sometimes hear friction noise, this is caused by the cord rubbing
against your clothing while walking or during exercise.
Using the headphones
1 Be sure to use correct ear piece for left and right ear.
2 The medium-size silicone ear pieces are attached when
purchased. You may not enjoy the bass sound fully if the
ear pieces do not fit your ears. To enjoy better sound while
reducing sound leakage, choose the other pair of ear
pieces (three sizes of silicone ear pieces) and adjust their
positions to fit them to your ears.
3 When wearing the headphones, adjust the position of the
supports so that they fit your ears.
For replacing the ear pieces...
• Attach the ear pieces firmly when replacing them; failure to do so may result in the
ear pieces getting lodged in your ear canal when removed, thus becoming a possible
health hazard.
• For replacement of the ear pieces, please consult your local dealer.
Notes on using ear pieces
• The ear pieces deteriorate with age even in normal use and maintenance.
• When the ear pieces get dirty, detach the ear pieces and wash them in water-diluted
detergent. After washing, dry the ear pieces and attach to the headphones.
How to use the cord clip
1 Press the knob and attach the cord clip to the cord.
2 Attach the cord clip to a piece of your clothing.
CAUTION
• Store the cord clip in a place where children cannot reach to avoid the risk of the
accident such as swallowing it.
• When you use the cord clip, be careful not to catch your fingers.
Cleaning the headphones
The headphone part
1 If the headphones themselves have become dirty, wipe them with a damp
cloth.
2 If they are very dirty, rinse them in slow running water or in a basin (or
similar) of water.
3 After rinsing the headphones, wipe them softly with a dry cloth. Only use
them when they are fully dry.
4 The headphones have waterproofing equivalent
to IPX5/IPX7. However, they are not completely
waterproof. Lightly shake and tap the headphones
against a dry cloth as shown in the illustration on
the right to ensure that no water drops remain.
Otherwise, water may enter the inner workings of
the headphones.
CAUTION
• Not to be immersed or come into continuous contact with water.
• Rinse with fresh water. Do not clean with soap, detergent, alcohol, or other chemicals.
• Do not rub with a brush or similar.
• Do not dry with a hairdryer or similar.
• Do not wipe it with thinner or benzine.

adopted separate waste collection systems)
Products with the symbol (crossed-out wheeled bin) cannot be disposed as household waste. Old electrical and
electronic equipment should be recycled at a facility capable of handling these items and their waste byproducts.
Contact your local authority for details in locating a recycle facility nearest to you. Proper recycling and waste disposal
will help conserve resources whilst preventing detrimental effects on our health and the environment.

Informace o nakládání se starými elektrickými a elektronickými zařízeními (vztahuje se na země, které
zavedly systém tříděného sběru odpadu)
Výrobky s tímto symbolem (přeškrtnutá popelnice) nelze likvidovat jako domovní odpad. Stará elektrická a elektronická
zařízení by měla být recyklována v závodu, který je schopný s těmito předměty a jejich vedlejšími odpadními produkty
nakládat.
Informace o nejbližším recyklačním místě získáte na místním úřadě. Správná recyklace a likvidace odpadů pomůže

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
“SOME DOS AND DON'TS ON THE SAFE USE OF EQUIPMENT”
This equipment has been designed and manufactured to meet international safety
standards but, like any electrical equipment, care must be taken if you are to obtain the
best results and safety is to be assured.
Do read the operating instructions before you attempt to use the equipment.
Do ensure that all electrical connections (including the mains plug, extension leads and
interconnections between pieces of equipment) are properly made and in accordance with
the manufacturer's instructions. Switch off and withdraw the mains plug when making or
changing connections.
Do consult your dealer if you are ever in doubt about the installation, operation or safety of
your equipment.
Do be careful with glass panels or doors on equipment.
DON'T continue to operate the equipment if you are in any doubt about it working normally,
or if it is damaged in any way — switch off, withdraw the mains plug and consult your
dealer.
DON'T remove any fixed cover as this may expose dangerous voltages.
DON'T leave equipment switched on when it is unattended unless it is specifically stated
that it is designed for unattended operation or has a standby mode.
Switch off using the switch on the equipment and make sure that your family know how to
do this.
Special arrangements may need to be made for infirm or handicapped people.
DON'T use equipment such as personal stereos or radios so that you are distracted from the
requirements of traffic safety. It is illegal to watch television whilst driving.
DON'T listen to headphones at high volume as such use can permanently damage your
hearing.
DON'T obstruct the ventilation of the equipment, for example with curtains or soft
furnishings.
Overheating will cause damage and shorten the life of the equipment.
DON'T use makeshift stands and NEVER fix legs with wood screws — to ensure complete
safety always fit the manufacturer's approved stand or legs with the fixings provided
according to the instructions.
DON'T allow electrical equipment to be exposed to rain or moisture.
ABOVE ALL
— NEVER let anyone, especially children, push anything into holes, slots or any other
opening in the case.
— this could result in a fatal electrical shock
— NEVER guess or take chances with electrical equipment of any kind — it is better to be
safe than sorry!

WARNUNG
Zu Ihrer eigenen Sicherheit...
• Hören Sie nicht lange Zeit mit sehr hoher Lautstärke. Nicht beim Fahren von
Motorfahrzeugen oder Fahrrädern verwenden.
• Achten Sie bei Nutzung der Kopfhörer im Freien besonders auf den Straßenverkehr.
Missachtung kann zu Unfällen führen.
VORSICHT
• Beenden Sie sofort die Verwendung des Kopfhörers, wenn er ein unangenehmes Gefühl
oder Reizungen auf der Haut und an den Ohren verursacht. Andernfalls kann die Haut
geschädigt werden und es können hierdurch Rötungen oder Entzündungen entstehen.
• Falls das Ohrstück oder andere Teile des Kopfhörers im Ohr stecken bleiben achten Sie
darauf, solche Teile nicht noch tiefer in den Ohrkanal zu drücken und suchen Sie sofort
ärztliche Hilfe zum Entfernen des Teils auf. Wenn Laien versuchen solch ein festsitzendes
Teil zu entfernen, können Verletzungen am Ohr verursacht werden.
• Bewahren Sie die Ohrstücke an einem Ort außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern
um insbesondere eine Gefahr von Unfällen, beispielsweise durch Verschlucken, zu
vermeiden.
• Bei trockener Luft, wie etwa in Winter, können Sie bei Verwendung der Kopfhörer
Schläge durch statische Aufl adung verspüren.
• Bei der Verwendung von Kopfhörern könnten Sie Geräusche wahrnehmen, die durch
Reibung von Kabeln bei Bewegung verursacht werden.
Benutzung des Kopfhörers
1 Verwenden Sie immer das richtige Ohrstück für das linke
und rechte Ohr.
2 Die mittelgroßen Silikon-Ohrstücke sind beim Kauf
angebracht. Wenn die Ohrstücke nicht zu Ihren Ohren
passen, kann es sein, dass Sie den tiefen Bass nicht voll
genießen können. Um besseren Klang zu genießen und
Geräuschaustritt zu verringern, wählen Sie das andere Paar
Ohrstücke (Silikon-Ohrstücke in drei Größen) und justieren
Sie ihre Positionen passend zu Ihren Ohren.
3 Justieren Sie beim Tragen der Kopfhörer die Position der
Bügel, so dass sie an Ihre Ohren passen.
Austausch der Kopfhörer...
• Bringen Sie die Ohrstücke beim Austauschen fest an; wenn das nicht geschieht, besteht
die Gefahr, dass die Ohrstücke beim Abnehmen in Ihrem Ohrkanal steckenbleiben und
eine mögliche Gesundheitsgefahr darstellen.
• Zum Austausch der Ohrstücke wenden Sie sich bitte an Ihren örtliche Händler.
Hinweise zur Verwendung der Ohrstücke
• Der Zustand der Ohrstücke verschlechtert sich mit der Zeit auch bei normaler Nutzung
und Pflege.
• Wenn die Ohrstücke schmutzig werden, entfernen Sie sie und waschen Sie sie in
Seifenwasser aus. Trocken Sie die Ohrstücke nach dem Waschen und befestigen Sie sie
dann wieder am Kopfhörer.
Verwendung des Kabelclips
1 Drücken Sie den Knopf und bringen Sie den Kabelclip am Kabel an.
2 Bringen Sie den Kabelclip an einem Kleidungsstück an.
VORSICHT
• Den Kabelclip für Kinder unzugänglich aufbewahren um ein versehentliches
Verschlucken zu vermeiden.
• Wenn Sie den Kabelclip verwenden, achten Sie darauf, sich nicht mit den Fingern zu
verhaken.
Reinigung des Kopfhörers
Der Kopfhörerteil
1 Wenn der Kopfhörer selber schmutzig geworden ist, wischen Sie ihn mit
einem feuchten Lappen ab.
2 Bei sehr starker Verschmutzung reinigen Sie ihn unter sanft laufendem
Wasser oder in einem Waschbecken (o.ä.) mit Wasser.
3 Nach dem Abspülen des Kopfhörers wischen Sie ihn sanft mit einem
trockenen Tuch ab. Verwenden Sie den Kopfhörer nur, wenn er vollständig
trocken ist.
4 Der Kopfhörer ist entsprechend der Norm IPX5/IPX7
wasserfest. Er ist aber nicht vollständig wasserdicht.
Schütteln Sie den Kopfhörer leicht und schlagen ihn
gegen ein trockenes Tuch an, wie in der Abbildung
rechts gezeigt, um sicherzustellen, dass keine
Wassertropfen darauf verbleiben. Andernfalls kann
Wasser in das Innere des Kopfhörers geraten.
VORSICHT
• Darf nicht in Wasser eingetaucht werden oder in kontinuierlichem Kontakt mit Wasser
sein.
• Spülen Sie mit Süßwasser ab. Verwenden Sie nicht Seife, Spülmittel, Alkohol oder
andere Chemikalien zur Reinigung.
• Nicht mit einer Bürste o.ä. reiben.
• Nicht mit einem Fön o.ä. trocknen.
• Nicht mit Lösungsmitteln wie Terpentin oder Benzin abwischen.
