PROFESSIONAL IN-EAR HEADPHONES

OPERATION
Carefully install the correct-tting ear moulds for your ear canals to the headphone earpieces. The
ear moulds must be comfortable and secure in order to achieve optimum sound and optimum noise
reduction. Insert the in-ear headphones into the ear canal as shown, observing the markings R for right
and L for left on the inner sides of the earpieces. To ensure optimum freedom of movement, insert the
wire-reinforced cable ends behind the auricle, shape it to suit your requirements and run the cable
over your shoulder down your back. To replace the cable, disconnect the connection between the
special connector and the earpiece (separate connector and earpiece, do not pull on the cable). When
reconnecting, ensure that left and right sides remain in-situ and are not exchanged (see markings on
plug and earpiece). Using light pressure, push the gold plated connector into the gold-plated socket on
the earpiece, until the connector clicks into place.

8. Do not use the device in the immediate vicinity of water (does not apply to special outdoor devices
– in this case, please observe the following special instructions). Do not bring the device into
contact with combustible materials, liquids or gases.
9. Ensure that dripping or splashing water cannot penetrate into the device.
10. Ensure that no objects are able to fall into the device.
11. Operate the device only with accessories of the type recommended and supplied by
the manufacturer.
12. Do not open the device and do not perform any modications.
13. After connecting the device, ensure that all cables are routed so as to avoid damage or accidents,
such as from tripping.
14. During transport, ensure that the device is unable to fall down and cause damage to property or
injury to persons.
15. If your device should no longer function properly, if liquids or foreign objects have penetrated it, or
the device has been damaged in any way, turn it off immediately and unplug it from the mains
socket (in so far as this relates to an active device). The device may be repaired only by authorised
repair technicians.
16. Use a dry cloth to clean the device.
17. Observe all disposal laws applicable in your country. Please dispose of the plastic and paper or
cardboard packaging separately.
18. Product, packaging and accessories must be kept out of the reach of children and pets to prevent
accidents and avoid risk of asphyxiation.

This device is designed for professional use. The commercial operation of this device is
subject to the applicable national regulations and guidelines for accident prevention. As
the manufacturer, Adam Hall is legally obliged to inform you explicitly of potential health
risks. Hearing damage caused by high volumes and long-term exposure: When using this
product, high sound pressure levels (SPL) can be created that could lead to irreparable
hearing damage. Avoid prolonged exposure to high volume levels over 90 dB. In order to
prevent possible hearing damage, avoid listening at high volume levels for long periods.
Even for short periods, loud sounds can cause hearing damage. Please always keep the
volume at a pleasant level.
CAUTION! DANGER TO LIFE
Do not use in-ear headphones in trafc (while driving or as a pedestrian) or in situations
where hearing must not be impeded (e.g. on a construction site). Acoustic perception is
drastically impaired by in-ear headphones.
HEALTH RISK!
Clean the ear moulds at regular intervals to prevent the formation of bacteria and minimi-
se the risk of ear infection. Do so by removing the ear moulds from the headphones and
cleaning them with soapy water. Allow the ear moulds to dry completely before reuse.
