Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the LINDY Fibre Optic DVI-D Hybrid Cable! This Cable allows you to
transmit Digital DVI signals up to a distance of 150. This cable is a hybrid cable containing both
bre optic and copper cores.
For long distances of up to 300m the LINDY DVI bre optic extender No.38004 may be used,
for even larger distances up to 5km the bre optic extender No.38064.

Available in lengths from 20m to 150m

Installation
This cable can only be used in one direction. The connector to be plugged into the DVI
source is labelled TX.
The connectors include opto electronic transceiver chipsets that require power. In many -
cases the power can be provided from the connected DVI device. In all other cases as well
as to assure a higher level of reliability the supplied power supplies must be connected to
the DVI connectors.
The minimum bending radius of the hybrid cable is approximately 75mm; never
bend the cable to a smaller radius because this would irreversibly destroy the
cable.
Never step on the cable or put any heavy pressure on to the cable
The maximum tensile load to the cable is 245N. Never pull the cable with higher
load.
Connect the cable to the devices and power on your display and source to complete the
installation
