with a max. length of 5 m (16.4 ft.).
1 Connect HDMI cable (not included)
from your source to the . HDMI IN
Turn on the connected source.
2 Connect HDMI cables (not included) from
your display(s) to HDMI OUTs 1, 2 or both.
Turn on the connected display(s).
3 Connect USB cable (included) from the
unit to a 5 V / 1 A USB power source
(not included) and power outlet.
4 Scaler Button (see Downscaling Examples
image): press to turn downscaling on/off.
a – On: Simultaneously output the 4K input signal
to a 4K TV on OUT1 and downscale the 4K signal
to 1080p for a 1080p TV on OUT2 (EDID settings
for HDR, audio format, Deep Color, etc. will be
the lower version that both displays support).
b – Off: Copy the EDID (the information about
a display’s capabilities [including HDR,
audio format, Deep Color, etc.]) from OUT1
to OUT2. If a 4K TV is connected to OUT1,
OUT2 can downscale to 1080p but use the
same EDID; if a 1080p TV is connected OR
to OUT1, OUT2 resolution will be 1080p).
