proof of purchase. This warranty becomes void if
packaging material. The packaging material
represents a danger of suffocation. Children

I TIMER-funktionen lyser lyskæden konstant i
6 timer med en efterfølgende pause på
18 timer. Lyskæden lyser efterfølgende til tæn-
dingstid igen 6 timer med en efterfølgende
18 timers pause.
I funktionen ON lyser lyskæden indtil De ved
hjælp af et fornyet tryk på tasten 2 slukker
for denne. Ved fuldt opladede batterier har
lyskæden en lysetid på ca. 100 timer.
Rengøring
Brug en støvkost for at rengøre produktet.
Ibrugtagning
Isoleringsstrimlen fjernes
Henvisning: Ved levering er produktet allerede
udstyret med batterier.
Fjern inden ibrugtagningen isloeringsstrimlen
fra batterirummet 4.
Indsætning/skift af batterier
Åben batterirumslåget 3 og læg tre batteri-
er af typen AA ind i batterirummet B 4
(afbildning B). Vær opmærksom på den
rigtige polaritet. Denne vises i batteribeholde-
ren 4.
Tænd og sluk
Batterirumslåget 3 er forsynet med en
taste 2.

Skulle lyskilden i slutningen af dens levetid
svigte, så skal hele lampen erstattes.

Improper disposal of batteries

Faulty or used batteries must be recycled in ac-
cordance with Directive 2006 / 66 / EC and its
amendments. Return batteries and / or the device
to the provided recycling facilities.
Never dispose of batteries in your household
waste. They may contain toxic heavy metals and
are subject to hazardous waste regulations. The
chemical symbols of the heavy metals are:
Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. There-
fore dispose of used batteries through your local
collection site.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of
recyclable materials, which you may
dispose of at local recycling facilities.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for
more details of how to dispose of your worn-out
product.

Switching on and off
The battery cover 3 has a push button 2.
Press this push button repeatedly to succes-
sively set the fairy lights to TIMER, ON and OFF.
In TIMER mode, the light chain lights glow
permanently for 6 hours and will be followed
by a subsequent pause of 18 hours. After-
wards, the light chain will light up again at its
designated turn on time for 6 hours followed
by a subsequent pause of 18 hours.
In ON mode, fairy lights will light until
switched off by pressing the switch 2. With
full batteries the fairy lights have a light on
time of approx. 100 hours.
Cleaning
Use a feather duster to clean the product.
If necessary, clean the battery and device
contacts before inserting the battery!
Promptly remove dead batteries from the
product!
Start-up
Removing the insulating strip
Note: The product is supplied with batteries
already installed.
Remove the insulating strip from the battery
compartment 4 before first use.
Inserting / replacing batteries
Open the battery cover 3 and insert three
batteries type AA in the battery compartment
4
(Fig. B). Be sure the polarity is correct. This is
indicated in the battery compartment 4.

mix used and new batteries!
Avoid extreme conditions and temperatures

Remove the batteries from the device if they
have not been used for a long period!

Only use the specified battery type!
When inserting the battery ensure the correct
polarity! This is shown in the battery compart-
ment!

Do not operate the light chain inside the

After use, keep the light chain in the packag-
ing to prevent unwanted damage.
This product does not contain any parts that
can be serviced by the user.
The illuminant is not replaceable.
If the illuminant fails at the end of its life, the
entire light must be replaced.
Never electrically connect the fairy lights with
other fairy lights.
Never connect the fairy lights directly to a
230 V connection.
This light chain must not be
used without all gaskets being properly installed.
