These instructions are intended for users

with basic electronic knowledge� Please

read the instructions carefully prior to op-

eration and keep them for later reference�

1 Applications

This dynamic gooseneck microphone with car-

dioid characteristic is used for converting the

sound of speech� It is specially designed for

installation on a metal plate, e� g� front panel

of a unit�

2 Safety Notes

The microphone corresponds to all relevant

directives of the EU and is therefore marked

with �

•

The microphone is suitable for indoor use

only� Protect it against dripping water, splash

water and high humidity� The admissible am-

bient temperature range is 0 – 40 °C�

•

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never

use chemicals or water�

•

No guarantee claims for the microphone and

no liability for any resulting personal dam-

age or material damage will be accepted if

the microphone is used for other purposes

than originally intended, if it is not correctly

connected or not repaired in an expert way�

If the microphone is to be put out of

op eration deﬁnitively, take it to a local

re cycling plant for a disposal which is

not harmful to the environment�

3 Operation

1) To install the microphone, drill a 10 mm hole

at the desired place and screw on the micro-

phone�

2) Connect the cable of the DMG-400 to a

micro phone input� If required, solder a suit-

able plug onto the cable ends�

1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten

Dieses dynamische Schwanenhals-Mikrofon

mit Nierencharakteristik ist für die Schallum-

wandlung von Sprache konzipiert� Es ist spezi-

ell für die Montage auf eine Metallplatte (z� B�

Frontplatte eines Gerätes) vorgesehen�

2 Hinweise für den Gebrauch

Das Mikrofon entspricht allen relevanten Richt-

linien der EU und trägt deshalb das -Zeichen�

•

Verwenden Sie das Mikrofon nur im Innen-

bereich und schützen Sie es vor Tropf- und

Spritzwasser sowie vor hoher Luftfeuchtig-

keit� Die zulässige Einsatztemperatur beträgt

0 – 40 °C�

•

Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein tro-

ckenes, weiches Tuch, auf keinen Fall Chemi-

kalien oder Wasser�

•

Wird das Mikrofon zweckentfremdet, falsch

angeschlossen oder nicht fachgerecht repa-

riert, kann keine Haftung für daraus resul-

tierende Sach- oder Personenschäden und

keine Garantie für das Mikrofon übernom-

men werden�

Soll das Mikrofon endgültig aus dem

Betrieb genommen werden, überge-

ben Sie es zur umweltfreundlichen

Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recy-

clingbetrieb�

3 Inbetriebnahme

1) Zum Einbau des Mikrofons an gewünschter

Stelle ein 10-mm-Loch bohren und es dort

festschrauben�

2) -Das Kabel des DMG-400 an einen Mikro

eingang anschließen� Bei Bedarf einen pas-

senden Stecker an die Kabel enden anlöten�
