Die MONDAINE HELVETICA REGULAR MECHANICAL ist eine mechani-
sche Schweizer Markenuhr mit Handaufzug. Das heisst, sie läuft ohne
Batterie mit einem mechanischen Antrieb. Sie ist auf Wasserdichtigkeit und
Stossfestigkeit in der Fabrik geprüft.
Mechanische Uhren haben eine grosse Tradition. Sie sind auch heute noch
der Stolz der Uhrmacherkunst. Und für viele Uhrenliebhaber ist nach wie vor
nur die mechanische Uhr eine «richtige» Uhr.
Das mechanische Werk dieser Uhr ist ein Schweizer Qualitätsprodukt. Sein
genaues Zusammenspiel von vielen kleinen und kleinsten Komponenten wie
Rädchen, Achsen und Federn, die sehr genau aufeinander angepasst sind,
garantiert die Präzision.
Die Ganggenauigkeit einer mechanischen Uhr ist kleiner als bei einer
Quarzuhr. Dies ist auch bei der MONDAINE HELVETICA REGULAR
MECHANICAL so.
Diese kleine Unregelmässigkeit müssen Sie in Kauf nehmen, denn die Mechanik ist
zwar sehr präzise, aber mangels Elektronik stärker den Temperaturen, Bewegungen
und mechanischen Ursachen unterworfen. Falls Sie es mit der Pünktlichkeit sehr
genau nehmen, ist die Uhrzeit alle paar Tage zu kontrollieren und eventuell neu ein-
stellen. (Oder Sie tragen eine MONDAINE Quarzuhr.)
Ihre MONDAINE HELVETICA REGULAR MECHANICAL muss vor dem Tragen,
sowie jeden Tag, aufgezogen werden (ca. 10 - 20 Umdrehungen). Dadurch wird sie
gleich zu Beginn des Tragens mit voller, konstanter Kraft laufen.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Uhr eine genauere Uhrzeit anzeigt, wenn sie regelmä-
ssig aufgezogen wird.
The MONDAINE HELVETICA REGULAR MECHANICAL is a Swiss watch with
a mechanical movement, so it needs no batteries. It is factory-tested for
water resistance and shockresistance.
Mechanical watches look back on a long tradition and, even today, they are
the skilled watch-maker’s pride and joy. For many watch fans, mechanical
watches are still the only real ones.
Its mechanical movement is a first-class Swiss product and accuracy is
guaranteed by the precise inter-action of many tiny, meticulously adjusted
components such as cogs, pivots and springs.
Mechanical watches in general are less accurate than quartz watches, and
the same applies to the MONDAINE HELVETICA REGULAR MECHANICAL.
You will have to bear with this slight variation because, although the movement is
very precise, the absence of electronics makes it more sensitive to changes in tem-
perature, movement and mechanical factors.
If you attach importance to absolute accuracy, you should check your watch every
couple of days and adjust it as necessary or wear a MONDAINE quartz watch.
Your MONDAINE needs to be wound HELVETICA REGULAR MECHANICAL
10 - 20 time before wearing, as well as every day to ensure it goes regularly from
the time you put it on.
Please note the watch shows the time more precisely if worn regularly.
