IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

- Do not use this apparatus near water.
- Clean only with dry cloth.
- Do not block any venlaon openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s
instrucons.
- Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, ampliers or
other apparatus that produce heat.
- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched parcularly at plugs, convenience
receptacles and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
- Only use aachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer.
- Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of me.
- Refer all servicing to qualied service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus
has been damaged in any way, such as the power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has
been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain
or moisture, does not operate normally or has been dropped.
WARNING
CHOKING HAZARD - SMALL PARTS. This is not a toy. Not for children under 3 years old. Do not
use where small children can reach it. Do not operate the fan in the presence of explosive or
ammable fumes. There is a risk of explosion or leakage if baeries are incorrectly installed. Do
not mix old and new baeries. Do not mix alkaline, carbon-zinc or rechargeable baeries. Do
not dispose of baeries in re because baeries may explode or leak.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
For best performance use fresh alkaline baeries. To install baeries, posion fan face down,
slide out baery door on back, install baeries following (+/-) marks and replace door. You
may have to push down as you slide in. As a safety precauon, the fan includes 2 screws to lock
the baery compartment. Tighten screws using #1 Phillips screwdriver. Screws do not have to
be removed from the baery cover. To operate, slide switch located on side of fan. To operate
fan using AC power (120-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz), use supplied adapter only. Inserng adapter plug
into fan disconnects the installed baeries from the circuit. Remove baeries if fan will be
stored for two weeks.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If fan does not operate, verify baeries or supplied adapter are installed properly and nothing is
obstrucng the fan blades.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operaon is subject to the following two
condions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept
any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operaon.
Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital
device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable
protecon against harmful interference in a residenal installaon. This equipment generates,
uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with
the instrucons, may cause harmful interference to radio communicaons. However, there is
no guarantee that interference will not occur in which can be determined by turning the
equipment o and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more
of the following measures:
* Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
* Increase the separaon between the equipment and receiver.
* Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit dierent from that to which the receiver is
connected.
* Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Cauon: Changes or modicaons to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible
for c ompliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
