SPEAKER PLACEMENT

The BOTS indoor/outdoor speakers are manufactured to resist a variety of weather conditions. However, they

are not waterproof, so if you decide to place your speakers outdoors, position them so they are not exposed

to the elements. The undersides of most eaves and overhangs provide the best protection for indoor/outdoor

loudspeakers.

A FEW WORDS ABOUT BOTS INDOOR/OUTDOOR SPEAKERS

The BOTS indoor/outdoor speakers are designed to accurately reproduce high fidelity music in a variety of

applications, including home theater. Not only are these loudspeakers weather resistant for outdoor use, they

also include color matched brackets for mounting in most any environment.

SPEAKER MOUNTING

If your application requires the BOTS indoor/outdoor speakers to be mounted, please follow thesedirections.

Using the hardware supplied, mount the bracket first. Attach the speakers to the brackets using the large

plastic knobs supplied. Never mount a speaker on a wall made of unreinforced drywall or plasterboard. If you

are unsure, consult a professional contractor.

HOOKING IT UP

The binding post speaker terminals on the BOTS indoor/outdoor speakers will accommodate up to 12-gauge

wire.

When connecting the speakers, it is very important to observe the correct polarity. This means that the wire

attached to the (), , or positive terminal on one component must be attached to the (), , or positive+ red+ red

terminal on the corresponding component’s speaker output terminals. Similarly, the (), , negative, or- black

ground terminals must connect to the respective (), , negative, or ground terminals. This is easy to do - black

by locating the color, stripes, or ribbing that appears on most wire.
