1.1 Safety and Noce
Please read all of these instrucons carefully before you use the device. Save this manual for future
reference.
The PT-C-VGAHD VGA and Audio to HDMI™ Converter has been tested for conformance to safety
regulaons and requirements, and has been cered for internaonal use. However, like all electronic
equipments, the should be used with care. Please read and follow the safety instrucons PT-C-VGAHD
to protect yourself from possible injury and to minimize the risk of damage to the unit.
● Follow all instrucons and warnings marked on this unit.
● Do not aempt to service this unit yourself, except where explained in this manual.
● Provide proper venlaon and air circulaon and do not use near water.
● Keep objects that might damage the device and assure that the placement of this unit is on a stable
surface.
● Use only the power adapter and power cords and connecon cables designed for this unit.
● Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners to clean this unit. Always unplug the power to the device
before cleaning.
1.2 Introducon
The oers an easy and instant approach for converng PT-C-VGAHD VGA and Audio to HDMI™ Converter
analog PC video (VGA) with either digital audio (S/PDIF) or analog stereo audio to digital HDMI. With this
module, VGA based devices such as PC with S/PDIF or analog stereo audio can readily connect to your
HDMI TV. With such a convenience, presentaons, demonstraons, or digital signage become easier and
more cost eecve.
— PC video supports up to UXGA (1600x1200) or WUXGA (1920x1200)
— Supports most popular VESA resoluons from 640x480 up to WUXGA
— Front panel LED indicators
— Easy installaon The length depends on the characteriscs and quality of the cables. Higher
resoluons and longer transmission distances require low skew cables (<25ns/100m) for best
performance. Unshielded CAT6 with metal RJ-45 connectors is recommended.
