User Manual
Thank you for your decision to buy the Periscope.
Please read these user instructions carefully, before using the unit and
keep them in a safe place so that you can refer to them in the future at any
time.
Risk of damage! Do not connect the microphone to any power supply
other than a phantom power source .
This is the only way to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Cleaning: The Periscope surface is not treated with varnish so it will get
a natural patina over time. This is part of the aesthetics of the microphone
and does not affect sound or performance. we do not recommend to use
any product to clean it other than a soft cloth slightly moisturized . Avoid
using the cloth on or around the capsule area.
Warranty
Scope Labs warranties this product to be free from defect in materials and
workmanship for one year from the date of purchase, for the original pur-
chaser to whom this equipment is registered. This warranty is non-transfer-
rable.
This Warranty is void in the event of damage incurred from unauthorized
service to this unit, or from electrical or mechanical modification to this
unit. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from abuse, acciden-
tal damage, misuse, improper electrical conditions such as mis-wiring,
incorrect voltage or frequency, unstable power, disconnection from earth
ground, or from exposure to hostile environmental conditions such as
moisture, humidity, smoke, fire, sand or other debris, and extreme tem-
peratures.
Scope Labs will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace this product in a
timely manner. This limited warranty extends only to products determined
to be defective and does not cover accidental costs such as equipment
rental, loss of revenue etc. Please contact us for more information or to
request warranty service.
Non warranty service:
If you have a defective unit that is outside of our warranty periods or condi-
tions: we are here to help and can get your unit back to work for a fee.
