BEFORE SHARPENING:
Place the sharpener on a at surface. (See Fig. 1)
To prevent the sharpener and table from being cut by knife or scissors, place the sharpener as close as possible to the
table edge while sharpening. (See Fig. 2)
Press down the black lever securing the sucon pad on surface. When you nish sharpening, pull the lever up, the
sharpener will be separate from the table. (See Fig. 3)
Knife includes all knives of double-beveled edge. This sharpener is not suitable for single-beveled edge knives.
1. Insert blade fully and vercally into appropriate sharpening slot at a 90-degree angle to the sharpener. Gently pull
the knife blade with light pressure from heel to p in direcon of indicator arrows. (See Fig. 4)
No. V-Notch slot (Coarse CARBIDE) - Quickly set a new edge1
No. V-Notch slot (Fine CERAMIC) - Hone for a smooth nished edge2
Note: Light pressure is sucient when using the knife sharpener. Heavy pressure might cause to lose control of the
knife and could cause possible injury. Carefully and gradually increase pressure unl the desired result is achieved.
The No. CERAMIC slot is for ne honing of slightly dull edge. The The No. CARBIDE slot is for dull or damaged edge2 1
that requires new edge seng. Try to sharpen with No. CERAMIC slot rstly for your valuable knives.2
Use No. 2 CERAMIC slot only to sharpen your serrated edge knife. (See Fig.5)
