3. Close the Battery Compartment
Operation
Switching on
• Press the for a short time On/Off Button (2)
Note: To maximise battery duration, the device will power off automatically after a short period
of inactivity.
Unit selection
1. Switch the scales on (see ‘Switching on’)
2. Press the repeatedly, to scroll through the available weight Unit Selector Button (4)

Taking measurements
1. Switch the device on and set the desired unit
2. Attach the object to be weighed to the Weighing Hook (1)
3. If needed, use the tare function to zero the display
4. Hold the scales on the and lift the device, until the object to be weighed Handle (6)
is hanging freely from the Weighing Hook
5. The LCD Display (5) will now show the reading. It will reset to ‘0.00’ once the object is removed
from the , or change to ‘HOLD’ once a stable display is achievedWeighing Hook
WARNING: ‘O-LD’ If the attached weight exceeds the maximum weight capacity of the device, will be

Allumer l’appareil

Prise de mesures
1. Allumez l’appareil et sélectionnez l’unité requise.
2. Attachez l’objet que vous pesez au crochet de pesée (1).
3. Si nécessaire utilisez la fonction tare pour mettre l’affichage à zéro.
4. Soulevez le peson par la et soulevez l’appareil, jusqu’à ce que l’objet que vous pesez poignée (6)
pende librement du crochet de pesée.
5. L’affichage LCD (5) vous montrera la valeur. L’affichage reviendra à 0.00 une fois que l’objet est

Tare function
Note: The tare function is useful for incremental measurements, or when using an attached container
for measuring smaller objects.

Maintenance
Cleaning
• Keep your tool clean at all times. Dirt and dust will cause internal parts to wear quickly, and
shorten the device’s service life. Clean the body of your machine with a soft brush, or dry cloth.
If available, use clean, dry, compressed air to blow through the ventilation holes (where applicable)
Changing the batteries
