Bi-Metal Holesaw Safety Instructions
Fitting the holesaw to the arbor
• The design allows quick fitment of the holesaw with no
tools required. There is no need to remove the arbor
from the chuck
1. Pull up the drive pin collar to retract the pins
2. Screw the holesaw onto the arbor and align one set
of pin holes with the pins
3. Push the drive pin collar forward so that the pins
engage the holesaw
4. If necessary loosen the pilot drill and adjust so that
only the tapered cutting edges project beyond the
holesaw teeth
Sawing speeds
• See the Table below for suggested speeds for sawing
in different materials. Due to varying cutting Note:
conditions and types of materials, stated speeds are
for guidance only
Using the holesaw
• For cleaner cutting action and longer saw life, use a
good grade of cutting oil when holesawing metals
(except cast iron)
• Clear chips away regularly; clogged saw teeth will slow
the cut and may cause overheating
WARNING: Failure to follow these instructions may result in
serious injury or damage to the tool
Safety
Wear approved eye protection, hearing protection and
breathing protection when using this tool
Arbors
Always use the correct size arbor for the holesaw, as per
table below

Assembler la scie-cloche sur l’arbre
• La conception permet une installation rapide et sans
outils. Il n’y a pas besoin de retirer l’arbre du mandrin.
1. Tirez la bague de serrage vers le haut pour rentrer
les mâchoires.
2. Vissez le scie-cloche sur l’arbre et l’alignez
corectement.
3. Tirez la bague de serrage vers le bas pour sortir
les mâchoires.
4. Si nécessaire, desserrez le foret de guidage et
ajustez-le de façon à ce que seuls les tranchants
effilés projettent au-delà des dents de la scie-cloche.
Vitesses de sciage
• Voir la table de réglage de la vitesse de sciage selon les
différents matériaux. Dû aux nombreuxRemarque :
types de matériaux et de conditions de sciage, les
données de la table ci-dessous ne sont qu’à titre de
conseils uniquement.
Utilisation de la scie cloche
• Pour une coupe plus nette et augmenter la durée de vie
de la scie, utilisez une bonne huile de coupe pour scier
les métaux (sauf avec la fonte).
• Supprimez les copeaux régulièrement : des dents
de scie encombrées ralentissent la coupe et cela peut
provoquer une surchauffe.
ATTENTION : Ne pas respecter les instructions peut causer
des blessures graves et endommager votre outil.
Sécurité
Portez toujours les équipements de sécurités nécessaires
l’utilisation comme des lunettes de protection, protections
auditives et respiratoire et des gants de sécurité.
Arbres
Toujours utilisé la taille correcte de l’arbre pour la scie-
cloche, comme indiqué sur la table ci-dessous.

Remarque : Les arbres ci-dessus sont fournis avec un foret
de guidage de 6 mm.
Montage der Lochsägeeinsätze
• Die Löchsägeaufsätze können per Design schnell und
ohne jegliches Werkzeug an den Aufnahmen montiert
werden, ohne dass diese aus dem Bohrfutter entfernt
werden muss.
1. Ziehen Sie den Stiftkragen zurück bis die Stifte die
Mutter frei geben.
2. Schrauben Sie den Lochsägeaufsatz auf das
Aufnahmegewinde und richten Sie die Stifte anhand
der Bohrungen im Lochsägeaufsatz aus.
3. Schieben Sie den Stiftkragen vorwärts bis die Stifte
den Lochsägeaufsatz arretieren.
4. Der Zentrierbohrer kann gelöst und auf idealer Länge
wieder eingespannt werden, falls nötig.
Sägegeschwindigkeit
• Beachten Sie die untenstehende Tabelle für
Bohrgeschwindigkeiten beim Bohren in verschiedenen
Materialien. Hinweis: Die angegebenen
Geschwindigkeiten sind nur als Richtwerte zu verstehen,
und an unterschiedliche Sägebedingungen anzupassen.
Benutzung der Lochsäge
• Benutzen Sie stets ein geeignetes Schneidöl bzw.
Kühlmittel um saubere Schnitte anzufertigen und die
Lebensdauer Ihrer Lochsäge zu verlängern (Ausnahme:
Gusseisen).
• Entfernen Sie Grat und Späne regelmäßig, da diese
die Sägezähne verstopfen und zur Überhitzung des
Werkzeugs führen können.
WARNUNG! Das Nichtbeachten dieser Anweisungen kann
zu Verletzungen oder Beschädigungen des Werkzeuges
führen.
Sicherheit
Tragen Sie die erforderliche persönliche Schutzausrüs-
tung, inklusiv einer geeigneten Schutzbrille, Gehörschutz
und Atemschutz.
Aufnahmen
Benutzen Sie stets eine Aufnahme in der korrekten Größe
für den jeweiligen Lochsägeaufsatz (siehe Tabelle):
