• Carefully read all instructions before operation and save for future reference.
• This appliance is designed specifically for the purpose of heating and boiling drinking

• Place unit on a surface that is level, clean and free of water.
• Do not place kettle on or near a hot surface, i.e. stove or heated oven.
• The kettle emits steam when water boils, keep a safe distance from walls, curtains,
other appliances or steam sensitive materials.
• The kettle can only be used with the supplied power base.
• Do not operate kettle with an external timer or remote control system.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handle for lifting and carrying the kettle.
• Always power off the kettle and remove power plug from the outlet before attempting
to move the kettle, when not in use and before cleaning and storing.
• Use caution when pouring water from the kettle, boiling water and steam will scald.
• Do not immerse kettle, base or power cord in water or other liquid.
• Do not open the lid during operation to prevent scalding.
• The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire,
electric shock or injury to persons.
• Do not let the cord hand over the edge of table or counter; touch hot surfaces or
become knotted.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with this appliance.
• Inspect the appliance regularly. Do not use if kettle shows signs of damage to the
power cord, plug or appliance.
• Do not plug with wet hands.
• Do not plug into a socket where several other appliances are plugged in.
• Do not plug into a socket that is less than 10 amps
• Do not use if cord is damaged or if plug does not fit correctly into the socket.
• Do not modify any parts or repair any parts by yourself.
• Do not use near open flame or main heat source or in wet environment
• This appliance is for household use only. Do not use this appliance other than its
intended use.
