Do not operate flashlight in a potentially explosive environment, such as where flammable liquids or gases are present.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY CHARGER & FLASHLIGHT
• Abatteryoperatedashlightwithintegralbatteriesmustberechargedusingonlythespeciedchargerforthebatteriessuppliedwith
the flashlight.
• Achargerwhichmaybesuitableforonetypeofbatterymaypresentareriskifusedwithanotherbattery.
• Onlyusethebatteriessuppliedwiththisashlight.Useofanyotherbatteriesmaypresentarerisk.
• Thechargerplugmustmatchtheoutlet.Nevermodifythepluginanyway.Iftheplugdoesnottintoyouroutletconsultanelectrician.
• Donotexposetheashlight,orchargertorainorwetconditions.
• Donotimmerseashlightorchargerinliquids
• Donotmisusethecord.Donotusethecordforcarrying,pulling,orunpluggingthecharger.
• Pullthepluginsteadofthecordwhendisconnectingthecharger.
• Keepcordawayfromheat,oil,sharpedgesormovingparts.
• Preventthepowercordfrombeingwalkedonorpinchedparticularlyattheplugandexitpointofchargingbase.
• Unplugthechargingbasefromthewalloutletduringthunderstorms.

Keep batteries out of reach of children.
CHARGING NOTES
• Beforeusingbatterycharger,readallinstructionsandcautionarymarkingsonthecharger.
• Useonlythechargersuppliedwiththeashlight.Donotsubstituteanyothercharger.UseonlytheStanley®approvedchargersupplied
with the flashlight.
• Donotdisassemblechargerifithasreceivedasharpblow,beendroppedorotherwisedamagedinanyway.Incorrectreassemblyor
 damagemayresultinelectricshockorre.
• Donotrechargeashlightinadamporwetenvironment.Donotexposechargertorainorsnow.Ifashlightbodyiscrackedorotherwise
 damaged,donotchargeashlight.Batteryshortorremayresult.
• Forlongestlifeandbestperformanceofthebatteries,chargebatterieswhentheairtemperatureisbetween65ºFand75ºF(18ºC-24ºC).
 DONOTchargethebatteriesinanairtemperaturebelow40ºF(4ºC)andabove105ºF(40ºC).Thiswillpreventseriousdamageto
the batteries.
• Batteryleakagemayoccurunderextremeusageortemperatureconditions.Avoidcontactwithskinandeyes.Thebatteryliquidiscaustic
 andcouldcausechemicalburnstotissues.Ifliquidcomesintocontactwithskin,washquicklywithsoapandwater,thenlemonjuiceor
 vinegar.Iftheliquidcomesintocontactwithyoureyes,rinsethemwithwaterforaminimumof10minutesandseekmedicalattention.
• Placetheashlightonatnon-ammablesurfacesandawayfromammablematerialswhenre-chargingtheashlight.Chargerand
 ashlightheatduringcharging.Carpetingandotherinsulatingsurfacesblockproperaircirculationwhichmaycauseoverheatingofthe
 chargerandashlight.Ifsmokeormeltingofanycomponentisobserved,unplugthechargerimmediatelyanddonotusethecharger
or flashlight.
• Theashlightcanbeleftonthechargeraslongasyoulike.Aminimumchargetimeof12hoursisrequiredtorechargeacompletely
discharged flashlight.
• Plugthechargerintoanystandardhousehold230-240volt60Hzoutlet.NOTE:DonotchargebymeansofageneratororDCpowersource.
• Iftheashlightdoesnotchargeproperly;
  a)Checkthecurrentatreceptaclebyplugginginalamporotherappliance.
  b)Checktoseeifreceptacleisconnectedtoalightswitchwhichturnspoweroffwhenyouturnoutthelight.
  c)Movechargerandashlighttoalocationwherethesurroundingairtemperatureisapproximately65ºF-75ºF(18ºC-24ºC).
• Keepchargersocketonashlightandchargerplugcleanandfreefromdebris.
• Donotoperatechargerwithadamagedcordorplug.
• NEVERattempttoconnecttwoormorechargerstogether.
• Onlychargeashlightindoorswiththechargersuppliedwiththeashlight.
CHARGING THE FLASHLIGHT
Before attempting to charge your flashlight thoroughly read all of the safety instructions.
To charge your flashlight follow the safety steps below.
• Plugthechargingadapterintothechargingholeoftheashlightandchargerintoawalloutlet.
• Chargetheashlightfor12hoursforthe1stcharge.
• Averagechargingtimeaftertherstchargeis10hours.
• Rechargetheashlightwhenthelightbecomesdim.
• Rotatetherubbercollaroverthechargingholetokeepholecleanfromdirtanddebris.
BATTERY DISPOSAL
IMPORTANT: The flashlight is designed for easy disassembly for the sole purpose of battery
disposal. Unscrew cap at rear of the flashlight to remove the battery pack.
MAINTENANCE
Useadampclothtocleanthetool.Neverallowanyliquidtogetinsidethetoolandneverallowanypartofthetooltobecomeimmersed
in a liquid.
NICKEL – METAL HYDRIDE BATTERIES
Theashlightisequippedwithnickelmetalhydridebatterieswhichcanbedisposedofinamunicipalsolidwastestream.
Checkyourlocalcodesforproperdisposal.

Do not attempt to disassemble the flashlight body or remove any components. Fire or injury may result.
Prior to disposal, protect exposed terminals with heavy insulating tape to prevent shorting of the batteries.

 etlesyeux.Leliquidedelabatterieestcaustiqueetpeutentraînerdesbrûlureschimiques.Sileliquideentreencontactaveclapeau,
 lavez-larapidementàl’eausavonneusesuivied’uneapplicationdecitronoudevinaigre.Sileliquideentreencontactaveclesyeux,
 rincezabondammentàl’eauclairependantunminimumde10minutesetconsultezunmédecin.

• N’utilisezpaslechargeursilecordond’alimentationoulapriseestendommagé.
• NETENTEZJAMAISderaccorderdeuxouplusieurschargeursentreeux.
• Chargezuniquementlalampetorcheàl’intérieuraveclechargeurfourni.
POUR CHARGER LA LAMPE TORCHE
Avant de procéder au chargement de la lampe torche, lisez attentivement toutes les instructions
de sécurité. Pour charger la lampe torche, veuillez respecter les étapes suivantes:
• Branchezlacheduchargeursurlalampeetlapriseduchargeursuruneprisemurale.
• Chargezlalampependant12heurespourlapremièrefois.
• Letempsdechargementmoyenaprèslapremièrechargeestde10heures.
• Rechargezlalampelorsquesonfaisceaufaiblit.
• Pourquelepointdeconnexiondelachedechargementrestepropre,faitescoulisserlecollierencaoutchoucandelecouvrir.
MISE AU REBUT DE LA BATTERIE
IMPORTANT: la lampe torche est fabriquée de façon à faciliter le retrait de la batterie lorsqu’elle
doit être mise au rebut. Dévissez le couvercle à l’arrière de la lampe afin de retirer la batterie.
ENTRETIEN
Utilisezunchiffonhumidepournettoyerleproduit.Nelelaissezpasentrerencontactavecunliquidequelconqueetn’immergezaucunede
sespièces.
BATTERIE À HYDRURE MÉTALLIQUE DE NICKEL
Lalampeestéquipéed’unebatterieàhydruremétalliquedenickelpouvantêtremiseaurebutaveclesdéchetssolidesmunicipaux.Vériez
lesloisetrèglementslocauxpourconnaîtrelemodeappropriédemiseaurebut.
