SAFETY

•By ignoring the safety instructions the

manufacturer cannot be held responsible for

the damage.

•If the supply cord is damaged, it must be

replaced by the manufacturer, its service

agent or similarly qualified persons in order to

avoid a hazard.

•Never move the appliance by pulling the cord

and make sure the cord cannot become

entangled.

•The appliance must be placed on a stable,

level surface.

•The user must not leave the appliance

unattended while it is connected to the supply.

•This appliance is only to be used for

household purposes and only for the purpose

it is made for.

•This appliance shall not be used by children

aged less than 8 years. This appliance can be

used by children aged from 8 years and above

and persons with reduced physical, sensory or

mental capabilities or lack of experience and

knowledge if they have been given

supervision or instruction concerning use of

the appliance in a safe way and understand

the hazards involved. Children shall not play

with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its

In a double-insulated appliance, two insulation systems are

provided instead of an earth wire. No earthing means is provided on a

double-insulated appliance, nor should a means for earthing be added to

the appliance. Servicing a double-insulated appliance requires extreme

care and knowledge of the system, and should only be done by qualified

service personnel. The replacement parts for a double-insulated appliance

must be identical to the parts they replace. A double-insulated appliance is

labelled with the words 'CLASS II' or 'DOUBLE INSULATED". It can also

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

•Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10

cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for

installation in a cabinet or for outside use.

•The unit can be placed vertically or horizontally on a flat stable surface.

•When the device is turned on for the first time, a slight odour will occur.

This is normal, ensure adequate ventilation. This smell is only temporary

and will soon fade.

USE

•Plug in the appliance to a grounded outlet.

•Putthepower cable intothe socket.(Note: Make surethe voltagewhich

is indicated on the devicematchesthe localvoltage beforeconnecting

the device.Voltage220V-240V ~ 50-60Hz).

•Turn the power setting knob to the desired setting.

•Turn the thermostat control knob clockwise until it clicks, the power light

will illuminate and the heater will begin warming up.

•Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to increase the temperature or anti -

clockwise to decrease the temperature.

•When the desired room temperature has reached, slowly turn the

thermostat knob anti-clockwise to the minimal direction until the

appliance switches off.

•This set temperature will be automatically maintained.

•When you have finished using your heater, turn the thermostat knob anti-

clockwise all the way to the lowest position [ - ], turn the power setting

switch off and unplug the unit.

AUTO SATETY SHUT OFF

•The heater has a built-in safety device, which will switch the heater OFF

in case of accidental overheating. To reset the heater, follow the next

steps:

•Turn the power settings knob to OFF .

•Unplug the heater and wait 5 -10 minutes for it to cool down.

•After the unit has cooled down, plug it in and operate it as normal.

•Never place objects on the heater, such as clothing or towels. Never use

the heater in the bathroom or other wet areas. The air outlets of the

heater can be very hot.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

•Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down. Use a soft, slightly damp

cloth to wipe appliance surfaces. Do not allow water or any other liquid to

get into the unit.

•Clean the air suction opening from time to time with a fine brush.

ENVIRONMENT

This appliance should not be put into the domestic garbage at the

end of its durability, but must be offered at a central point for the recycling

of electric and electronic domestic appliances. This symbol on the

appliance, instruction manual and packaging puts your attention to this

important issue. The materials used in this appliance can be recycled. By

automatisch inschakelen, omdat er brandgevaar

heerst als het verwarmingssysteem op onjuiste

wijze is afgedekt of gepositioneerd.

•Gebruik de verwarmer niet in de directe

omgeving van een bad, douche of zwembad.

•Installeer het apparaat niet in de buurt van

gordijnen en andere brandbare materialen. Dit

kan brand veroorzaken.

•De verwarming dient niet direct onder een

dat de knoppen en andere

Gescheiden inzameling / Controleer uw gemeentelijke richtlijnen.

Bij een dubbel geïsoleerd apparaat zijn er twee isolatiesystemen

in plaats van een aardedraad. Op een dubbel geïsoleerd apparaat is geen

aarding aangebracht, en er moet ook geen aarding aan het apparaat

worden toegevoegd. Het onderhouden van een dubbel geïsoleerd

apparaat vereist uiterste zorgvuldigheid en kennis van het systeem, en

mag alleen gedaan worden door gekwalificeerd onderhoudspersoneel. De

vervangingsonderdelen voor een dubbel geïsoleerd apparaat moeten

identiek zijn aan de onderdelen die ze vervangen. Een apparaat met

dubbele isolatie wordt aangeduid met de woorden "CLASS II" of "DOUBLE

INSULATED". Het is ook te herkennen aan het dubbele isolatiesymbool.

VOORAFGAAND AAN HET EERSTE GEBRUIK

•Plaats het apparaat op een vlakke, stabiele ondergrond. Zorg voor

minimaal 10 cm vrije ruimte rondom het apparaat. Dit apparaat is niet

geschikt voor inbouw of gebruik buitenshuis.

•Het apparaat kan verticaal of horizontaal op een vlakke stabiele

ondergrond geplaatst worden.

•Als het apparaat voor de eerste keer wordt aangezet, ontstaat een lichte

geur. Dit is normaal, zorg voor voldoende ventilatie. Deze geur is maar

tijdelijk en zal spoedig vervliegen.

GEBRUIK

•Steek de stekker van het apparaat in een geaard stopcontact.

•Sluit de voedingskabel aan op het stopcontact.(Let op: Zorg ervoor dat

het op het apparat aangegeven voltage overeenkomt met de plaatselijke

netspanning.Voltage220V-240V ~ 50-60Hz).

•Draai de vermogensinstelknop op de gewenste stand.

•Draai de thermostaatregelknop met de klok mee tot hij klikt, het aan/uit-

lampje gaat branden en het verwarmingstoestel begint op te warmen.

•Draai de thermostaatknop met de klok mee om de temperatuur te

verhogen of tegen de klok in om de temperatuur te verlagen.

•Als de gewenste kamertemperatuur bereikt is, draai je de

thermostaatknop langzaam tegen de wijzers van de klok in naar de

minimale richting tot het apparaat uitschakelt.

•Deze ingstelde temperatuur wordt automatisch gehandhaafd.

•Als je klaar bent met het gebruik van je verwarming, draai je de

thermostaatknop tegen de wijzers van de klok in helemaal naar de

laagste stand [ - ], zet je de aan/uit-schakelaar uit en haal je de stekker

uit het stopcontact.

AUTOMATISCHE VEILIGHEIDSUITSCHAKELING

•Het verwarmingsapparaat heeft een ingebouwde beveiliging, die het

apparaat uitschakelt bij onopzettelijke oververhitting. Volg de volgende

stappen om de verwarming opnieuw in te stellen:

•Zet de vermogensinstelknop op OFF .

•Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact en wacht 5 -10 minuten tot hij

afgekoeld is.

•Nadat het apparaat is afgekoeld, steek je de stekker in het stopcontact

en gebruik je het als normaal.

•Plaats nooit voorwerpen op de kachel, zoals kleding of doeken. Gebruik

de kachel niet in de badkamer of andere natte ruimten. De roosters van

de kachel kunnen zeer heet worden.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD

•Verwijder de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat het apparaat afkoelen.

Gebruik een zachte, iets vochtige doek om het apparaat schoon te

maken. Zorg ervoor dat er geen water of andere vloeistof in het apparaat

komt.

•Reinig de lucht aanzuigopening van tijd tot tijd grondig met een fijne

borstel.

MILIEU

Dit apparaat mag aan het einde van de levensduur niet bij het

normale huisafval worden gedeponeerd, maar moet bij een speciaal

inzamelpunt voor hergebruik van elektrische en elektronische apparaten

worden aangeboden. Het symbool op het apparaat, in de

gebruiksaanwijzing en op de verpakking attendeert u hierop. De in het

apparaat gebruikte materialen kunnen worden gerecycled. Met het

recyclen van gebruikte huishoudelijke apparaten levert u een belangrijke

bijdrage aan de bescherming van ons milieu. Informeer bij uw lokale

overheid naar het inzamelpunt.

•N’utilisez pas ce radiateur à proximité de

baignoires, de douches ou de piscine.

•Veuillez ne pas placer l’appareil à proximité de

rideaux et d’autres matériaux inflammables.

Dans un appareil à double isolation, deux systèmes d'isolation

sont fournis à la place d'un fil de terre. Aucun dispositif de mise à la terre

n'est fourni sur un appareil à double isolation, et aucun dispositif de mise à

la terre ne doit être ajouté à l'appareil. La mise en service d'un appareil à

double isolation exige une très grande prudence et la connaissance du

système, et ne doit donc être effectuée que par un personnel de service

qualifié. Les pièces de rechange pour un appareil à double isolation

doivent être identiques aux pièces remplacées. Un appareil à double

isolation porte la mention "CLASSE II" ou "À DOUBLE ISOLAITON". Il

peut même être identifié avec le symbole de double isolation.

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION

•Mettez l'appareil sur une surface stable plate et assurez un dégagement

tout autour de l'appareil d'au moins 10 cm. Cet appareil ne convient pas

à une installation dans une armoire ou à un usage à l'extérieur.

•L'appareil peut être placé verticalement ou horizontalement sur une

surface plane et stable.

•Lorsque l'appareil est allumé pour la première fois, une légère odeur se

dégage. Ceci est normal et gage d'une ventilation adéquate. Cette odeur

est temporaire et disparaîtra vite.

UTILISATION

•Branchez l'appareil sur une prise mise à la terre.

•Insérez le câble d'alimentation dans la prise. (Remarque : assurez-vous

que la tension indiquée sur l'appareil correspond à la tension locale

avant de connecter l'appareil. Tension 220V-240V ~ 50-60Hz).
