MODO DE EMPLEO
Antes del primer uso, pase un paño húmedo
por encima de la plancha para eliminar cual-
quier partícula de suciedad.
Inserte la bandeja del aceite en su lugar.
Conecte la conexión separable a su toma de
conexión, enchufe el aparato a la red eléctrica
y seleccione la temperatura más adecuada
al alimento que desee preparar. Espere unos
minutos a que la plancha alcance la tempe-
ratura. En ese momento el piloto luminoso se
apagará.
En este momento, está lista para cocinar yco-
locar la comida dentro.
Durante el tiempo de cocinado, el piloto lumi-
noso se encenderá y apagará para indicar que
la plancha continúa manteniendo la tempera-
tura seleccionada.
Siempre utilice un utensilio de cocina de ma-
dera similar para mover la comida. Esto va
aprevenir que la superficie se raye.
Después de su uso, ponga el selector en la
posición 0 y desconecte el aparato de la red.
CONSEJOS DE UTILlZACION
• La plancha p1-ha sido diseñada para permitirle
cocinar sin aceite los alimentos más varia-
dos. Si lo desea, puede añadir unas gotas de
aceite sobre la plancha o untar el alimento
con un poquito de aceite omantequilla.
• Los tiempos de cocinado serán diferentes
en función del alimento y de su tamaño. Los
trozos pequeños se cocinarán antes y de
manera más uniforme que los grandes.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Before its first use, wipe down the griddle plate
with a damp cloth to remove any possible dirt.
Insert oil tray to its placement.
Plug the detachable control module into
its socket then plug the appliance into the
mains supply and select the most appropriate
temperature for the food to be cooked. Wait
a few minutes for the griddle to reach the
temperature. When this happens the pilot light
will go out.
It is ready for cooking and place food inside at
this moment.
The pilot light will go on and o during cooking;
this shows that the griddle is maintaining the
selected temperature.
Always use a similar wooden kitchen utensil to
turn the food over. This will prevent the surface
from being scratched.
After use, turn the temperature selector back
to 0 and unplug the appliance from the mains.
ADVICE ON USE
• The griddle has been designed to cook
awide variety of food without the use of oil.
Nevertheless, you can put a few drops of oil
on the griddle plate or spread the food with
a little oil or butter.
• Cooking times will vary depending on the
type and size of the food. Smaller pieces
will cook faster and more evenly than larger
pieces.
• Cut vegetables into slices before cooking
them.
• When grilling meat, if you like it well done
then leave it for longer at a low temperature
but if you like it rare then cook it at maximum
temperature for ashort period.
Recommended settings:
• Seafood: 4 - 5
• Meats: 3 - 5
• Fish: 3 - 4
• Sliced fruits and vegetables: 2 - 3
• Bread and pastries: 1 - 2

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
Check that the appliance is unplugged and has
cooled down suciently. Do not wait for it to
go stone cold as it is always easier to remove
scraps while the griddle is still warm.
Always clean the griddle after each use, as
this will prevent food scraps from becoming
stuck to it. Wipe the griddle plate with akitchen
towel. Stubborn remains can be re moved with
the help of a little oil. The rest of the appliance
can be cleaned with damp cloth. Do not use
abrasive cleaning agents as these could dama-
ge the nonstick coating.
The griddle plate and oil tray can be washed in
the dishwasher.
The detachable control module must always
be cleaned with a dry cloth.
Never insert this detachable control module
into the dishwasher.
