ormentalcapabilitiesorlackofexperienceandknowledgeiftheyhavebeengivensupervisionorinstruction

concerninguseoftheapplianceinasafewayandunderstandthehazardsinvolved.

• Childrenshallnotplaywiththeappliance.

OPERATION

Beforefirst‐timeuse:

• Beforeusingthisdeviceforthefirsttimepleasecarefullyrinsealldetachablecomponentswithwarmwater.

• Fillthereservoir(4)withcoldwatertothemaximumwaterlevelindication.

• Afterwardsbrewwatertwotimeswithoutcoffeepowder.



TOPERCOLATECOFFEE

• Connectthemainsplugtoanappropriatewalloutlet.

• Filltheflask(5)withcoldwater.

• Openthelidofthereservoir(1)andfillittothedesiredwaterlevelindication.Youcanbrewamaximumof12

smallcupsand10bigcups.

• Placeacommerciallyavailablefilterinthefilterreservoir(6)andusethemeasuringspoontoaddtheamount

ofcoffeepowderappropriatetotheamountofcupsyouwanttobrew.

• Placeafilterinthefilterreservoirattachedtothecoffeepercolator.Thefilterreservoirmustbeengaged,

otherwisethepass‐throughvalvemightnotbeopen.

• Nowplacetheflaskonthetray(2)ofthecoffeepercolator.

• Closethelidofthereservoir(1)andstartbrewingcoffeebypressingthePowerON/OFFswitch(3).The

indicatorlightonthepowerswitchstartsflashing.

• Ifyouleavethedeviceswitchedon,thetraywillkeepthecoffeewarmafterfinishingbrewing.Tokeepthe

aromaofthecoffeedonotkeepitwarmforlongerthananhour.



DESCALING

• Regularlydescalethecoffeepercolator.Theintervalsofdescalingdependonthewaterhardnessand

frequencyofoperation.Incaseofaveragewaterhardnesswesuggestdescalingevery3or4months.Please

useacommerciallyavailabledecalcificationagent.

• Fill400mlofwaterintothereservoirandaddthenecessaryamountofdecalcificationagentinaccordance

withthedosinginstructions.

• Letthedecalcificationagentsinkinthecoffeepercolatorforaboutonehour.Switchtheunitonafteronehour

andletthewaterpassthrough.Afterthatyoushouldbrewwatertwotimesandrinsealldetachable

components,inordertocleanoffanyresidua.



CAREANDMAINTENANCE

• Beforecleaningremovethemainsplugandletthedevicecooldown.

• Neverimmersethedeviceinwater.Pleaseuseaslightlydampclothforcleaningthesurfaces.

• Avoidusingacridorscrubbingcleaningagents.

• Keepthecoffeepercolatorinadryplaceoutofreachfromchildrenwhencooledoffandcleaned.

• Donotwrapthecordaroundthedevice.


