UsingYour Oven
Step 1.Select ovenfunction.
Step 2.Set the temperature.
Step 3.Press Start.
Step 4.Place foodinside the oven once set temperatureis reached. Close the oven door.
Step 5.(Optional)Enter time tocook.
Step 6.TheCancel button can be used tocancel the function during or after cook time.

Using YourRange
WARNING
Fire Hazard
Donotletthe burnerflame extendbeyond
the edge ofthepan.
Turnoffallcontrols whennot cooking.
Failuretofollow theseinstructions can
result in death orfire.
Electricigniters automatically light thesurfaceburners when
controlknobs are turned to Ignite.
Beforesetting a control knob, place filled
cookwareon the grate. Do not operatea
burner using emptycookware orwithout
cookwareon the grate.
Theflame should be adjusted so it does not
extendbeyond the edge of the pan.
NOTE: Visually checkthatthe burner has
lit. Ifthe burner does not ignite, listenfora
clickingsound. Ifyou do not hear the igniter
click, turnthe burner off. Checkforatripped
circuit breakerorblown household fuse.
Check thatthe controlknob is pressed
completely down on the valve shaft. If the
spark igniter stilldoesnotoperate, calla
trained repairspecialist.
To Use:
1. Push in andturnknob counterclockwise
to Ignite.Allsurfaceburnerswillclick.
Onlythe burner with the control knob
turnedto Ignite will produce a flame.
2. Turn knob to anywhere between HIGH
and LOW.
REMEMBER: Whenrangeisin use,the entire cooktoparea may become hot.
POWER FAILURE
Incase of prolonged power failure, thesurface burners can be lit manually. Hold a lit match near a burner and
turnknob counterclockwise to the Ignite position.Afterthe burner lights, turn knobto setting.
ALUMINUM FOIL
IMPORTANT: To avoidpermanent damage to the oven bottom finish, do not line the oven bottom withany
type offoilorliner.
Forbest cooking results, do not coverentire oven rackwith foil becauseair mustbe able to move freely.
IMPORTANT: Do notallowaluminumfoiland meatprobestocontactheating elements.
POSITIONINGRACKS ANDBAKEWARE
IMPORTANT: To avoidpermanent damage to the porcelain finish,
donot place food or bakeware directly onthe oven door or bottom.
Racks
■Positionracks before turning on the oven.
■Do not position rackswith bakeware on them.
■Makesure racks are level.
To move a rack, pull itout to the stop position,raise the front edge,
andthen lift out. Use the following illustrationsasa guide.
Forhamburger patties to have a well-searedexterior and a rare interior, use a flat rack in rackposition7.
Preheatthe oven for 5 minutes. Side1 should cook forapproximately4 to 5 minutes. Side 2 shouldcook for
approximately 41/2to 51/
2minutes. Expect a moderate degree of smokewhen broiling.
BAKING COOKIESAND LAYER CAKESON TWORACKS
BakingLayer Cakes
Forbest results when baking cakes on tworacks,use the Bake function, aflat
rack in rack position 5, and a flatrack in rackposition 2. If you do not have two
flat racks, use a Max Capacity OvenRack in rackposition 6. Place thecakes on
theracks, asshown. Keep at least 3" (7.6 cm) of space between thefront of the
racks and the front cakes.
Baking Cookies
Forbest results when baking cookies on tworacks,use the Convection Bake function,a flat rackin rack position 5,
anda flat rackin rackposition2. If you do not havetwo flat racks,use a flat rack in rackposition 2 and a Max
Capacity Oven Rackin rack position 6.If you do not have Convection Bake,use the standard Bake function.

OVEN VENT
Theoven vent releases hot air andmoisture from the
ovenand should not be blocked or covered.Blocking or
coveringthe oven vent will cause poorair circulation,
affectingcooking and cleaning results. Do not set
plastics, paper, orother items thatcould meltorburn
near the oven vent.
A.Oven vent
OVEN LIGHT
Theoven light is a 40 W halogenbulb. Before replacing, make sure theoven and cooktop are cool and thecontrol
knobs arein the Off position.
To Replace:
1. Disconnect power.
2. Turntheglassbulb cover in the back of the oven counterclockwise to remove.
3. Removebulb fromsocket.
4. Replace bulb, using tissue or wearing cotton glovesto handle bulb. To avoid damage to or decreasing the life
ofthe new bulb, do not touch bulbwith bare fingers.
5. Replacebulb coverbyturningclockwise.
6. Reconnect power.
IMPORTANT: Donotuse lamps rated higher than 40 W.
