GenerallytherewillneverbeareasontochangeyourG3programming.However,shouldyouneedtomakeslightadjustmentstomeet

yourbrewingneeds,programminginstructionsareprovidedlaterinthismanual.

 SystemRequirements:

  •WaterSource20–90PSI.Musthaveaminimumowrateof GPM(preferredowrateis1gpm).½

  •Electrical:Seeattachedschematicforstandardmodelorvisitwww.wilburcurtis.comforyourmodel.

Equipmenttobeinstalledtocomplywithapplicablefederal,state,orlocalplumbing/electricalcodeshavingjurisdiction.

SETUPSTEPS

Theunitshouldbelevel(lefttorightandfronttoback),locatedonasolidcountertop.Connectawaterlinefromthewaterltertothe

brewer.NOTE:Sometypeofwaterltrationdevicemustbeusedtomaintainatrouble-freeoperation.(Inareaswithextremelyhard

water,wesuggestthatasedimentaryandtaste&odorlterbeinstalled.)Thiswillprolongthelifeofyourbrewingsystemandenhance

coffeequality.

1.A3/8”NPTx1/4”Flareelbowhasbeensuppliedforwaterlineconnection.Usetubingsizedsufcientlytoprovideaminimumof 

½ gallon per minute.

2.Connecttheunittoanappropriateelectricalpowercircuit.

3.Turnonthetoggle(STANDBY/ON)switchbehindtheunit.Theheatingtankwillstarttoll.Whenthewaterlevelinthetankrises 

tothecorrectvolume,theheatingelementswillenergizeautomatically.WithADSSystemsthereisnodangerofelementburnout 

causedbyanemptytank.

4.Theheatingtankwillrequire20to30minutestoreachoperatingtemperature(200°F)asindicatedbyREADY-TO-BREWdisplayed

ontheLED.

5.Priortobrewing,dispense12ouncesofhotwaterthroughthehotwaterfaucet.

6. Brewacycleofatleast12ounces,topurgethewaterlinesofanyairthatmaybetrappedafterlling.

Duringtheactualbrewcycle,a2-minutedripmodeisaddedtothebrewtime.Theprogrammedwaterlevelcompensatesforbacktobackbrewing

Delta3toallowforanincreaseofwatervolume.

UnitsproducedbeginningJanuary2008canbeeasilyadjustedfromthefrontpanel.WrittenintothesoftwareontheAlphaGTUCM,isafeaturetoaccessthe

brewvolumewithoutenteringtheprogrammode.

TheUCMmustbeon.ToadjusttheALP1GTmodels,pressandholddownthecenter,Selectbutton2.Thescreenwillread pressing<or>

willadjustthebrewvolumeupordown,±20oz,in1ounceincrements.

Onanymulti-stationAlpha(ALP2/3/4/5/6GT):PressthecenterSelectbutton2twice,withthesecondpressholddownthebuttonforaroundve[5]seconds.

Thescreenwilldisplay pressing<or>willadjustthebrewvolumeupordown,±20oz,in1ounceincrements.
