agesresultingfromincorrectorimproperinstallation.

• Theminimumsafetydistancebetweenthecookertop

andtheextractorhoodis650mm(somemodelscanbe

installedatalowerheight,pleaserefertothepara-

graphsonworkingdimensionsandinstallation).

• Checkthatthemainsvoltagecorrespondstothatindi-

catedontheratingplatexedtotheinsideofthehood.

• ForClassIappliances,checkthatthedomesticpower

supplyguaranteesadequateearthing.

• Connecttheextractortotheexhaustuethroughapipe

ofminimumdiameter120mm.Therouteoftheue

mustbeasshortaspossible.

• Donotconnecttheextractorhoodtoexhaustductscar-

ryingcombustionfumes(boilers,replaces,etc.).

• Iftheextractorisusedinconjunctionwithnon-electrical

appliances(e.g.gasburningappliances),asufcient

degreeofaerationmustbeguaranteedintheroom

inordertopreventthebackowofexhaustgas.The

kitchenmusthaveanopeningcommunicatingdirectly

withtheopenairinordertoguaranteetheentryofclean

air.Whenthecookerhoodisusedinconjunctionwith

appliancessuppliedwithenergyotherthanelectric,the

mbartopreventfumesbeingdrawnbackintotheroom

use:overheatedoilcanburstintoames.
