Dear Customer,
Thank you for choosing this ALPINA home appliance. Your Alpina appliance comes with a 2 year warranty and will

hope you will connue to make ALPINA your rst choice in home appliances.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precauons should be followed:
1. Read all instrucons carefully.
2. Make sure the power supply corresponds to one on the rang label.
3. To avoid electrical shock, do not immerse electrical parts in water or other liquid.
4. Do not allow children to operate or play with the appliance.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use, or before pung on/taking o parts.
6. Do not use with damaged electrical cord or plug.
7. If damaged or malfuncon occurs, refer to an authorized service center only.
8. Do not place on or near hot surfaces.
9. Never pull the appliance by the power cord.
10. Do not use the appliance for other than intended household use.
NOTE: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilies or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instrucon by a person
who is responsible for their safety concerning the use of the appliance. Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.

1. For the rst me use, ll the thermo jug with mix white vinegar and cold water, pour the mixture into the water
tank and bring to boil, pour out the mixture and repeat the process unl no yellow liquid comes out if necessary.
Then ll the water tank with tap water only and brew unl no vinegar odor is le.
2. Place the appliance on a clean and level surface and away from ammable things.
3. To add some coee powder or tea during operaon, always turn the power o and turn on aer relling.
4. If there is no water in the water tank, switch the power o, and do not switch on if the water tank is empty.
5. Never leave the appliance unaended while in use.
INSTRUCTION FOR USE
1. Fill the thermo jug with clean and cold water.
2. Open the water tank cover and ll in with clean water from the thermo jug to the required level.
3. Please note that the lid should be ghtened correctly. Place the thermo jug on its original posion.
4. Put adequate coee powder in the lter and place it back in the lter basket.
5. Insert the mains plug into the wall socket and switch it on, the indicator lights up and start working.
6. When the coee is ready, turn o the device rst and then remove the cup.
7. ANTI-DRIP VALVE: A cup may be served before all the coee has been prepared. When the jug is removed from the
hotplate the drip system is suspended temporarily. The jug must be replaced on the hotplate within 20seconds.
8. Once the preparaon cycle has nished. Wait a minute unl the drip has completely nished.
9. Keeping the jug on the hot plate will keep your coee or tea warm.
10. Do not touch the hotplate right aer operaon, as it is sll very hot.
11. Overheat heat protecon by Thermo fuse: When turn on the appliance without water or aer it nish brewing
water, the temperature will increase and the Thermo fuse device will cut o the power automacally at the
required temperature. In this case, unplugged the appliance at once.

Operaon:
1. Uncover the top cover and ll clean water to required level.
2 Put adequate quanty of coee powder or tealeaves in the lter cone. ．
3 Place the cups on the drip plate. ．
4 Place the tundish with the ltercone in the tundish support. ．
5 Close the top cover. ．
6 Switch on, the indicator lamp will light up and the machine begin working. ．
7 Aer boiling, when no water in tank, the coee is ready. ．
Warning:
This appliance is equipped with a grounded, Type G, 2-pin power supply cord. This is a safety feature. Do not attempt to
defeat the safety purpose of this plug.
Danger of scalding:
Please use cauon when using this coffee maker. The steam emitted from this aperture can be very hot.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
1. Make sure the appliance is unplugged from electrical outlet before cleaning.
2. Wipe the outside body of the appliance with damp cloth.
3. The removable items (lter, lter holder, drip tray) can be washed on hot spray water (or in a dishwasher).
4. Decaled your appliance regularly. With normal use, aer decaling, let the appliance work twice or more with only
water to rinse away the detergent remainders.
