QR-VBG
Installation Instructions
This special Anton/Bauer® Gold Mount®
b
racket allows you to use your existing Logic
Series® batteries to power any Panasonic
® camera that is compatible with the Panasonic
model VWVBG series batteries. An internal DC to DC converter automatically brings dow
n
the voltage of a 14.4 volt battery to 7.2 volts in order to power the camera. Simply snap
a
b
attery onto the Gold Mount adapter and plug the power cord into the camera. The bracket’s
on-board PowerTap® also provides an additional 14.4 VDC nominal auxiliary DC output fo
r
Ultralight 2, or any other piece of equipment that may be powered by a 12 VDC (11-17VDC)
DC source (50 watts maximum). The small size of DIONIC
® 90, or HyTRON® 50 batteries
allows you to carry them in the supplied pouch on your belt for comfort and ease. Any othe
r
Anton/Bauer battery can be used on this mount, however, due to size; they cannot fit into the
pouch.
The QR-VBG can be mounted to various third party shoulder support systems such as
Redrock® Micro*, Cinevate®, Shape®, Zacuto®, and others that incorporate the Anton/Baue
r
mounting hole pattern in their design. This can be achieved by removing the sheet metal bac
k
plate on the QR-VBG and then using the existing four (4) screws to attach the QR-VBG to
the shoulder support system.
*If attaching to a RedRock Microsystems cheese plate you may need one (1) back
p
late (P/N
5115-0405), and four (4) screws (P/N 6120-5522).
