Requirements
Source Device
The following equipment must be installed on the device or computer that acts as
the source of HDMI content:
• HDMI Type A output connector(s)
Display Device
• A display device or receiver with an HDMI Type A input connector for each
output port you will be installing
Cables
• HDMI cable for the source device
• HDMI cables for each output port you will be installing
Notes:
1. A DVI/HDMI adapter is required when connecting to a DVI source or display
device.
2. If a DVI/HDMI adapted is used, audio is not supported.
3. We recommend using high-quality cables when cascading HDMI splitters to
maintain a strong signal.
Conguration minimale

Les composants suivants doivent être installés sur le périphérique ou l’ordinateur
agissant en tant que source du contenu HDMI :

Remarques :
1. La connexion à un périphérique d’afchage ou à une source DVI exige
l’utilisation d’un adaptateur DVI/HDMI.
2. Les adaptateurs DVI/HDMI ne prennent pas en charge la transmission du son.
3. Il est recommandé d’utiliser des câbles de haute qualité pour l’installation en
cascade de répartiteurs HDMI an de préserver la qualité du signal.

Signalquelle
Auf der Signalquelle oder dem Computer, die bzw. der das HDMI-Signal sendet,
muss mindestens Folgendes installiert sein:
• HDMI Typ A-Ausgang bzw. -Ausgänge
Anzeigegerät
• Ein Anzeigegerät oder Receiver mit HDMI-Typ-A-Eingang für jeden
Signalausgang, der installiert werden soll
Kabel
• HDMI-Kabel für die Signalquelle
• HDMI-Kabel für jeden Signalausgang, den Sie installieren möchten
Hinweise:
1. Zum Anschluss einer DVI-Signalquelle oder eines –Anzeigegerätes ist ein DVI/
HDMI-Adapter erforderlich.
2. Bei Verwendung eines DVI/HDMI-Adapters ist keine Tonübertragung möglich.
3. Wir empfehlen Ihnen, nur hochwertige Kabel für die Kaskadenschaltung
mehrerer HDMI-Splitter zu verwenden. Dadurch ist eine ausreichende
Bildsignalqualität gewährleistet.

Refer to the installation diagram below and do the following:
1. Use a Male-to-Male Type A HDMI cable to connect your computer or HDMI
source device to the VS0108H’s HDMI Input port.
2. Use up to eight Male-to-Male Type A HDMI cables to connect up to eight HDMI
display devices to the VS0108H’s Output ports.
3. Plug the power adapter that came with the VS0108H package into an AC
power source, the plug the power adapter cable into the splitter’s Power Jack.

1. Reliez votre ordinateur ou votre périphérique source HDMI au port d’entrée
HDMI du VS0108H à l’aide d’un câble HDMI mâle-mâle de type A.
2. Vous pouvez utiliser jusqu’à huit câbles HDMI mâle-mâle de type A pour relier
jusqu’à huit périphériques d’afchage HDMI aux ports de sortie du VS0108H.
3. Connectez l’adaptateur électrique, fourni avec le VS0108H, à une prise
secteur, puis le cordon de l’adaptateur à la prise jack du répartiteur.

Für die Durchführung der folgenden Schritte, siehe die untenstehende Abbildung:
1. Verwenden Sie ein HDMI-Kabel Typ A (Männlein auf Männlein), und verbinden
Sie Ihren Computer bzw. die HDMI-Signalquelle mit dem Signaleingang am
VS0108H.
2. Verwenden Sie bis zu acht HDMI-Kabel Typ A (Männlein auf Männlein), und
verbinden Sie maximal acht HDMI-Anzeigegeräte mit den Signalausgängen
am VS0108H.
3. Verbinden Sie das mitgelieferte Netzteil mit einer stromführenden Steckdose
und anschließend mit der Netzeingangsbuchse am Splitter.

Note: The VS0108H will automatically detect the lowest resolution of any monitor
in the installation.
Cascading
C
To provide even more HDMI displays, additional units can be cascaded from
the VS0108H’s Output ports. Simply use additional Male-to-Male Type A HDMI
cables to connect an Output port on the parent splitter to the Input port on the
child splitter.
Recommended distances between devices in all cascade levels for transmitting a
high resolution signal are as follows:
Source to VS0108H 1.8 m
VS0108H to VS0108H 15m
VS0108H to display 20 m
HDCP Limitation in Cascade
If your HDMI content is HDCP-enabled, the VS0108H will only support the
number of displays that there are HDCP keys available (127 displays). If your
HDMI content is not HDCP-enabled, the VS0108H supports a full three-level
cascade (512 displays).
Remarque : Le VS0108H détecte automatiquement l’écran ayant la plus faible
résolution de l’installation.

An de pouvoir utiliser encore plus de périphériques d’afchage HDMI, vous
pouvez installer des appareils supplémentaires en cascade depuis les ports de
sortie du VS0108H. Reliez simplement un port de sortie du répartiteur parent au
port d’entrée du répartiteur enfant à l’aide de câbles HDMI mâle-mâle de type A
supplémentaires.

Limitation HDCP en cascade
Si votre contenu HDMI permet l’HDCP, le VS0108H acceptera autant d’écrans
qu’il y a de clés HDCP disponibles (127 écrans). Si votre contenu HDMI ne
permet pas l’HDCP, le VS0108H permet une cascade à trois niveaux (512
écrans).

Um noch mehr HDMI-Displays anschließen zu können, lassen sich weitere
Geräte an den Signalausgängen des VS0108H kaskadieren. Verbinden Sie
einfach einen der Signalausgänge des Splitters erster Ordnung mit dem
Signaleingang des untergeordneten Splitters. Verwenden Sie dazu ein HDMI-
Kabel Typ A (Männlein auf Männlein).
Die empfohlenen Entfernungen zur Übertragung hochauösender Graksignale
über alle Kaskadenebenen sind Folgende:

VS0108H auf VS0108H 15 m
VS0108H auf Anzeigegerät 20 m
HDCP-Einschränkung bei Reihenschaltung
Wenn Ihre HDMI-Inhalte HDCP unterstützen, unterstützt der VS0108H nur
die Anzahl Anzeigegeräte, für die HDCP-Schlüssel verfügbar sind (127
Anzeigegeräte). Unterstützen Ihre HDMI-Inhalte kein HDCP, unterstützt der
VS0108H alle Anzeigegeräte in einer Kaskadenschaltung mit drei Ebenen (512
Anzeigegeräte).
3. Conecte el adaptador de alimentación incluido con el VS0108H a una toma
eléctrica y el cable del adaptador a la entrada de alimentación del repartidor.
