1. Using a measuring device, mark off 12.25" from one end of tile.
2. Carefully cut tile on mark using utility knife, drywall saw, or RotoZipTM
.
3. Remove E.O. box cover (A) on enclosure.
4. Use two wire nuts (included) to attach the red (+) and black (-) leads to the field
wiring.
5. Set tap selector switch (B) for desired power.
6. Install DT12 into the grid with the unitโs tile support edge facing out from the
installation location. If the speaker location is not favorable, the tile support
edge may be moved to the other side of the DT12.
7. Replace the cut section of acoustic tile.
Power Settings 25V / 70.7V: .25, .5, 1, 2, 4 watts and 8ศ
Frequency Response: 85 Hz - 8 kHz
Sensitivity: 97 dB (1 W / 1 M)
NOTE: Wiring cavity is not intended to be used as a junction box.
A UL recognized conduit clamp must be used for conduit connections.
Installation must comply with all Building
Codes and NFPA guidelines.
Installation must adhere to N.E.C. and
NFPA 70/72 wiring directives
and comply with all National and
Local Building Codes.
