• Thewaffle maker may be used by children of 8 years and
above and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capability or lack of experience and knowledge
provided they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of theproduct in asafe way and understand
thehazards involved.
• Never let children play with thewafflemaker. Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
• Thewaffle maker may not be controlled by anexternal timer
or any type of remote control.
• This waffle maker is only intended for normal householduse.
• Thewaffle maker should only be used as described in this
instruction manual.
• Thewaffle maker should be placed on adry, flat and heat-
resistant surface. Makesure that there is ample space above
and below thewaffle maker for air to circulate.
• Bear in mind that thewaffle maker will become very hot
duringuse. Touchonly thehandles duringuse.
• Bear in mind that hot steam will escape when thelid is lifted.
• Keep aneye on thewaffle maker if you are using it in
thevicinity of children.

• Do not touch thewaffle maker or thelead if your hands
arewet.
• Do not expose thewaffle maker to moisture, knocks orblows.
Neveruse thewaffle maker if you have dropped it on thefloor,
left it outdoors or dropped it inwater.
• Check that your power supply corresponds to
thespecifications of thewaffle maker listed on therating plate
and that it is connected to anearthed socket.
• Do not pull or carry thewaffle maker by thelead. Donot use
thelead as ahandle and do not let it fasten in doorjambs.
Donot pull it around sharp corners and edges or over warm
surfaces, such as awarmhob.
• This waffle maker is only intended to be used and stored
indoors.
• Themains lead should be checked regularly. Neveruse
thewaffle maker if themains lead or plug is damaged.
• Themains lead must be changed if damaged. Thisis to
prevent therisk of electric shock or fire and should only be
carried out by themanufacturer, qualified service facility or
qualified technician.
• Do not open thehousing. Certain uninsulated components
inside thehousing carry dangerous voltages. Contact with
these components could result in electricshock.
• Thewaffle maker should not be taken apart or modified.
Thewaffle maker should only be repaired by qualified service
personnel.
• Always unplug thewaffle maker from thewall socket before
cleaning.
• Never immerse thewaffle maker in water or other liquids.
Thiscould result in potentially lethal electric shocks.
• Always unplug thewaffle maker from thepower point when it
is not inuse.
