Safety
• Do not subject thekeyboard to knocks andblows.
• Do not place thekeyboard where there is arisk that it may fall into water or
other liquids.
• Do not plug in or unplug theUSB cable with wethands.
• Do not place thekeyboard close to astrong heat source or expose it to
direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
• Never attempt to tamper with, repair or modify thekeyboard in anyway.
Thebuilt-in battery cannot be replaced.
• Use only theincluded USB cable for charging thekeyboard.

Establishing aBluetooth connection with acomputer,
tablet or mobilephone
Troubleshootingguide
Thekeyboard
won’t turnon.
Thebattery in thekeyboard might be discharged, charge
thebattery.
Thekeyboard
doesn’twork.
• Make sure that aBluetooth connection has been
properly established. Referto theEstablishing
aBluetooth connection... sectionabove.
• Make sure that no other wireless devices are
interfering with thewireless keyboard connection.
• If thedevice that you are attempting to connect
thekeyboard to is already connected to another
Bluetooth device, this may impair or prevent
thekeyboard from pairing with thedevice.
Disconnect theother (disrupting) wireless device.
Certain special
character keys
do notwork.
• If any of thekeys do not seem to work when using
thekeyboard, it could mean that thesettings in your
smartphone or tablet are not correctlyset. Checkthat
thelanguage setting is correct,e.g. English UK.
Samsung
• Thekeyboard language settings can be found under
Settings/My Device/Language and input language.
Clickon thecog symbol to theright of Samsung
Keyboard/Input language.
iPhone/iPad
• Keyboard language settings are listed under Settings/
General/Keyboard/Keyboard/. Thecurrent language
setting will be displayed. Clickon thedesired
language to change.
Responsible disposal
1. Micro-USB charger port connection
2. [ OFF/ON ] Power switch
3. LED indicator. Shines red while thebattery is charging and goes out when
thebattery is fully charged.
4. LED indicator. Flashes blue when thekeyboard is detectable for other
Bluetooth devices.
5. LED indicator. Shines blue when the[ Caps Lock ] button is pressed.
Operating instructions
Charging
1. Connect theUSB cable to acomputer or other USB charging device.
Thered LED indicator (3) will come on to show that charging is in progress.
Note: Thekeyboard should be charged for at least 4 hours before it is used
for thefirst time and even when it is used again after along period of disuse.
2. When theLED indicator goes out, thekeyboard is fully charged.
1. Set the [ OFF/ON ] switch (2) on thekeyboard
to the position.ON
5. Apassword will now appear on
your device. Writethepassword on
thekeyboard and press [ ENTER ].
Thetwo devices will now connect (pair)
with eachother.
2. TheLED Bluetooth connection indicator (4)
flashes blue to indicate that thekeyboard is
detectable for other devices (hold down [ Fn ]
and [ F1 ] simultaneously for one second if
theLED indicator does not flash to indicate that
thekeyboard is detectable).
6. Thedevices are now paired.
3. Activate Bluetooth on thedevice you intend to connect to thekeyboard.
Referto theinstruction manual of your device for further clarification if you
are unsure.
4. Thekeyboard will now appear on your device as “Bluetoothv3.0 Keyboard”,
selectit.
Note:
• Thekeyboard can only be paired with one device at atime.
• If, for example, you have thekeyboard paired with your iPad and then decide
to pair it with your mobile phone or computer instead, you can’t just reactivate
theprevious connection to youriPad. Youwill have to delete thekeyboard
(Bluetoothv3.0 Keyboard) from thelist of Bluetooth devices connected to
your iPad and then carry out anew Bluetooth device search to re-establish
theconnection.
• Thekeyboard will automatically go into sleep mode after 8 min of inactivity in
order to save battery life. Thekeyboard will reactivate as soon as any key is
pressed. It will then take about 10 sec* before theconnection is re-established
between thekeyboard and your device.
Note: Longer periods of inactivity may also cause your device’s Bluetooth
function to go into sleep mode. It can then take about 20–120 sec* before
theconnection is re-established between thekeyboard and your device.
*Time varies between different Bluetooth chips.
Care and maintenance
Wipe thekeyboard clean with adry cloth as and when required.
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed
of with general household waste. This applies throughout
theentire EU. In order to prevent any harm to theenvironment or
health hazards caused by incorrect waste disposal, theproduct
must be handed in for recycling so that thematerial can be
disposed of in aresponsible manner. When recycling your
product, take it to your local collection facility or contact
theplace of purchase. They will ensure that theproduct is
disposed of in anenvironmentally sound manner.
