Safety
• Please read theentire manual and save it for future use.
• Warning! Donot open thecasing. Certain components within theproduct’s casing
carry dangerous currents. Contact with these may give you anelectric shock.
• The product should only be repaired by qualified service technicians.
• Disconnect themains lead afteruse.
• Never leave thecurling tongs unsupervised when plugged into anelectrical socket.
Warning! Never use theproduct while bathing, showering or in such as way
that it can fall into water or other liquid.
• Never touch thecurling tongs if they are plugged in and have fallen intowater.
• Do not touch theproduct with wethands.
• Never use theproduct if theplug, mains lead or other parts are damaged.
• Do not use themains lead to carry theproduct.
• Protect themains lead from hot or sharp objects.
• The mains lead should be checked regularly. Never use the product if the mains
lead or plug is damaged.
• The mains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to prevent the risk of electric
shock or fire and should only be carried out by the manufacturer, qualified service
facility or qualified technician.
• For indoor useonly.
• Do not use theproduct in environments where aerosol sprays, oxygen or other
concentrated chemicals are present.
• The installation of anRCD with atripping current of 30 mA can help prevent lethal
electric shocks. Consult acompetent electricial if you are uncertain.
• This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
• Keep the product and its mains lead out of reach of children under the age of 8.
• The product may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or persons with a lack of experience or knowledge which could
jeopardize their safety, provided they have been instructed in the safe operation of
the product and understand the hazards involved.
• Never let children play with the product.
