The DKCR-59K includes 2 harnesses, for older and newer model vehicles. See installaon diagrams below for each
harness.
1st Generaon Harness
2nd Generaon Harness
The DKCR-59K second Generaon harness works on newer models with amplied or non amplied systems. Plug
in the 4-pin Molex connector to the inline lter connector corresponding to the system in the vehicle.

DIP SWITCH SETTINGS:
SETTING THE AFTERMARKET RADIO BRAND
With the key in the o posion, set the DIP switches to the corresponding aermarket radio seng.
OPTION A is used for ALPINE, CLARION, (JVC and KENWOOD units will use the Blue/Yellow wire).
OPTION B is used for ATOTO, BOSS, DUAL, FAHRENHEIT, JENSEN, POWER ACOUSTIK, PIONEER, SONY
SOUNDSTREAM and Most O-Brand radios.

check the aftermarket radio’s manual to see if the SWC buttons need to be programmed.

RADIO SELECTOR
FOR 4.3” AND 8.4” SCREEN REPLACEMENT:
When replacing the radio with a 4.3” OR 8.4” screen, you will need to tap the CAN signals along with Power, Ground,
and Speakers from the factory White 22-Pin connector. Tap the wires as shown below. Again, these connecons are
made on the factory White 22-pin connector.

For aermarket radios that have wires for SWC connecons, cut o the 3.5mm plug on the Crux SWC Cable (opon B) and
connect the SWC wires as follows:
Note that there are some radios that only have
SWC1 and SWC2, in this case “shield” does not
need to be connected.
