For Bose System:
Connect all 4 (front and rear) RCA connectors only. No speaker wire connections needed.
For Non-Amplified Systems:
Connect the 8 speaker wires. No RCA connection is needed.
For Vehicles with Rear Factory Subwoofer amplifier:
Connect the front channel speaker wires only. Then connect the rear RCA connectors.
Note: For Bose and Rear Factory Sub, connect the Blue wire.
SETTING THE AFTERMARKET RADIO BRAND
This step is done on the SWR - module. With the key in the off position, set the DIP switches to the AD 55
corresponding radio being used.
3.5MM SWC CABLE
Use the proper 3.5mm to 4-Pin SWC cable for the aftermarket radio you are using.
OPTION A is used for ALPINE, CLARION, (JVC and KENWOOD units will use the Blue/Yellow wire).
OPTION B is used for BOSS, DUAL, FAHRENHEIT, JENSEN, POWER ACOUSTIK, PIONEER, SONY and
SOUND STREAM units.
NOTE: Cap or insulate the 3.5mm plug or Blue/Yellow wire if not being used.
