1. Remove the existing door lock and handle assembly as shown
below.
NOTE: Keep the handle cam on hand to use in the following step
to install the combination lock.

2. Unscrew the cam washer and screw plate from the combination
lock.

Reversing the Handle Direction
The direction in which the handle lifts to open can be reversed by
rotating the cam washer 90 degrees counterclockwise as shown
below. This is especially useful if the door orientation has been
reversed.

3. Slide the combination lock through the door opening, install the
handle cam, and fasten the parts as shown below.

Setting and Changing the Lock Combination
NOTE: To change the combination, the lock must be engaged and the
existing combination must be known. The factory default
combination is 0-0-0.
a. Dial the known combination.
b. Turn the wing knob 180 degrees counterclockwise so that the
position arrow points UP (unlocked position).
c. Turn it an additional 15 degrees counterclockwise.
d. Dial the new desired combination.
e. Turn the wing knob 15 degrees clockwise to the unlocked
position. The new combination is now set.
To lock, turn the wing knob 180 degrees clockwise so that the
position arrow points DOWN (locked position); then scramble the
combination dial.

Locking and Unlocking the Door
Using the Combination Dial
1. Dial the combination.
2. Turn the wing knob 180 degrees counterclockwise (unlocked
position) so that the position arrow points UP. Lift the handle
and turn to open the door. To lock, return the handle to the
closed position and turn the wing knob 180 degrees clockwise
so that the position arrow points DOWN (locked position).
3. Scramble the combination dial.
Using the Key
The lock can be opened or closed using the included keys. Using
the key overrides the combination lock feature.
