• Do not leave appliance when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and

• Do not use the vacuum cleaner without dirt container and/or filter in place.

• Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or fine

wood sandings or use in areas where they may be present.

• Store the vacuum cleaner indoors. Put the vacuum cleaner away after use to prevent

To the consumer, Royal Appliance Mfg. Co. warrants this vacuum cleaner to be free of defects in material or workmanship

commencing upon the date of the original purchase. Refer to your vacuum cleaner carton for the length of warranty and

save your original sales receipt to validate start of warranty period.

If the vacuum cleaner should become defective within the warranty period, we will repair or replace any defective parts free

of charge. The complete machine must be delivered prepaid to any ROYAL Authorized Sales & Warranty Service Station.

Please include complete description of the problem, day of purchase, copy of original sales receipt and your name, address

WARNING:

To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider

than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully

in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the

proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.

An internal thermal protector has been designed into your cleaner to protect it from overheat-

ing. When the thermal protector activates the cleaner will stop running. If this happens proceed

as follows:

1. Turn cleaner OFF and disconnect it from the electrical outlet.

2. Inspect the nozzle and bag inlet openings for any obstructions. Clear obstructions if

present.

3. When cleaner is unplugged and motor cools for 30 minutes, the thermal

protector will deactivate and cleaning may continue.

If the thermal protector continues to activate after following the above steps, your cleaner may

need servicing.

1. The hose can be used alone or with many combinations of wands and tools.

2. To store attachments on the unit, simply place on the caddy located on wand.

Crevice tool can be stored on rear of unit as shown.

3. To remove the tool, pull apart gently. To unlock the wand, rotate and then pull apart.

NOTE:Please follow these instructions for attaching all other accessories.

Push the new dust filter into the filter

bag holder, until it’s flush with the edge

of the filter bag holder.

NOTE: The dust compartment cover

can only be closed if the dust filter bag

is fitted correctly. The rocker on the

dust filter bag holder prevents closing

of the dust compartment cover if the

dust filter bag is not correctly fitted.

Remove the filter bag holder with the dust filter

bag. Remove the motor protection filter by pulling it

upwards out of it’s guiderails.

Hold filter under running water to rinse. DO NOT use

soap/detergent. Tap excess water out of filter. Allow

filter to COMPLETELY DRY for at least 24 hours.

Replace filter.

Reinsert the filter bag holder

with the new dust filter bag.

First, set the filter bag holder

into it’s guiderails.

Then push the dust filter bag

holder all the way down.

Close the dust compartment

cover until it clicks.

STORAGE/TRANSPORT

2. Pull down on

tab to remove

exhaust filter

from back of

cleaner.

Remove exhaust filter from frame. Hold filter under running water to

rinse.

DO NOT use soap/detergent. Tap excess water out of exhaust filter.

Allow exhaust filter to COMPLETELY DRY for at least 24 hours.

Replace exhaust filter.

It is recommended to retract the telescopic tube before transporting or storing.

Push the telescopic release catch down and simultaneously telescope the tube into it’s lower

half.

To transport the cyclinder vacuum cleaner, you can carry by the carrying handle(A,1).

When interupting your work use the parking hook into the parking bracket(B).

For storing your appliance, hook the storage hook onto the storage bracket.

AVERTISSEMENT:

Le moteur de cet aspirateur est protégé par un thermostat. En cas de surchauffe, débranchez

l’aspirateur et mettez l’interrupteur en position arrêt. Remplacez le sac à poussière et nettoyez le

filtre. Vérifiez que les tuyaux et/ou l’orifice d’aspiration ne sont pas obstrués. Laissez l’aspirateur

refroidir pendant 45 minutes au minimum avant de l’utiliser. Pour redémarrer l’apirateur,

branchez-le et mettez l’interrupteur en position marche.
