Safety
• Incorrect charging current may damage your computer.
Make sure that theadaptor is designed to be used for
your computer before connecting it.
• Never attempt to modify or disassemble theadaptor.
• Turn off your computer before connecting theadaptor.
• Do not expose theadaptor to moisture, knocks or blows.
• Theadaptor is only intended for indoor use.
• Never use theproduct if either themains lead, connector
lead or adaptor itself is damaged.
Operating instructions
Note:
• Theadaptor is capable of charging and powering laptops
which require 18V DC, 19 V DC or 20V DC current.
Theadaptor must only be used with computers which
require apower output of between 0 and 65W.
• Make sure that theoutput power and voltage of theadaptor
is compatible with your laptop before connecting it. Refer to
theowner’s manual or documentation for your laptop if you
are at all unsure.
• Theadaptor will become warm during use, which is entirely
normal.
1. Select theappropriate DC connector plug tip for your laptop
and connect it to theconnector plug, refer to thetable below.
2. Connect themains lead to theadaptor.
3. Plug theadaptor into awall socket, theLED indicator light
on theadaptor will come on.
4. Making sure that theconnector tip is thecorrect one for
your laptop, connect theadaptor to your laptop.
Note: Disconnect theadaptor lead from your laptop
immediately if theLED indicator light does not come on.
Make sure that thevoltage is appropriate for use with your
laptop and that theconnector tip is correct before use.
Connector tips
Theconnector plug tips can only be connected to theplug
of theadaptor in one way. This is to ensure that thepolarity
always remains correct. Select theappropriate connector tip
using thediagram below and make sure that theconnector is
securely connected to theadaptor plug and your laptop.

used for anextended period.
Troubleshooting guide
Thelaptop
does not
charge.
• Make sure that thecorrect connector tip
is used and that all leads are whole and
correctly connected to theadaptor, laptop
and power point.
• Check that thewall socket is live.
• Check thecondition of your laptop battery
to make sure that it is capable of receiving
acharge.
TheLED
indicator
light goes
out.
Immediately disconnect theadaptor from your
laptop and make sure that theoutput voltage of
theadaptor is correct for your laptop. Refer to
theowner’s manual or documentation for your
laptop if you are at all unsure.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local
regulations. If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your
local council.
