imPortant Safety inStructionS
The safety of electrical appliances from FIRST
Austria complies with the recognized technical
directives and legal regulations for safety.
Nevertheless, you and the other users of the
appliance should observe the following:
โ€ข Please read these instructions carefully
before using this appliance for the ๎ƒ€rst time
and keep them for further reference.
โ€ข Only connect appliance to alternate current
power supply with voltage as speci๎ƒ€ed on
nameplate (grounding outlet).
โ€ข For use place the appliance on a clear, ๎ƒat
and heat-resistant surface. Distance from
the wall should be at least 5cm. The area
above the appliance should be kept free to
allow an unobstructed air-circulation. Never
place the appliance or supply cable on
hot surfaces. Nor should the appliance be
placed or operated in the vicinity of exposed
gas ๎ƒames.
โ€ข Make sure that there is no contact between
the supply cable and hot parts of the
appliance.
โ€ข The appliance becomes hot during
operation. Therefore be careful not to touch
any of the hot parts.
โ€ข Over-heated fats and oils can ignite. Food
prepared with oils and fats (e. g. french fries)
should therefore always be prepared under
supervision.
โ€ข As long as the appliance is hot โ€“ even when
not connected to the mains โ€“ it should be
under supervision. Nor should it be under
supervision. Nor should it be transported
with a saucepan on the hot-plate โ€“ danger of
burning oneself. Allow the appliance to cool
down fully before cleaning and storing away.
โ€ข The plaug should be pulled: after use, before
cleaning and in the event of malfunctioning.
โ€ข Never dip the appliance into water. Also
protect cable against moisture.
โ€ข Children do not realize the dangers which
can arise when working with electrical
appliances. Therefore they should only be
allowed to use electrical appliances only
under supervision. Special care should be
taken in the presence of children.
โ€ข Do not pull at the mains cable for
disconnecting appliance from the mains
supply.
โ€ข If the appliance or the mains cable show
any visible signs of damage they should
be examined by trained personnel or by
customer service as special equipment is
required in this case.
โ€ข We are excluded of liability for all damages
that may arise if the device is used for
purposes other than originally intended or if
it is used inappropriately.
โ€ข Donโ€™t lay paper and cloth etc. on the surface
plate for indirect heating for fear of ๎ƒ€ring
caused by the overheat pan bottom.
โ€ข Donโ€™t collide with the nucleated glass plate.
In case of breaking, turn off the oven and
pull out the plus to cut off the power and
stop operation.
โ€ข Donโ€™t put credit card, IC, watch and radio
set etc close to the oven for fear that the
magnetic ๎ƒ€eld would impact them to cause
cacophony.
โ€ข This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
โ€ข Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
