Listening to a CD
Using the headphones
1. Insert the headphone into the headphone jack.
1. Push the OPEN button and lift the lid up.
2. Place the CD in the unit label side up, close the
lid and press PLAY/PAUSE.
3. Use the VOLUME SWITCH on the side of the
unit to adjust the volume.
4. When searching for a song press the
SKIP/SEARCH + or SKIP/SEARCH - to locate the
song.To fast forward through a song press and
hold the SKIP/SEARCH buttons and release
where desired.
5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to pause the music,
press it again to continue playing.
6. Use BASSBOOST switch to enhance the bass
sound.
7. When done listening press STOP.
Note:
This unit plays CD, CD-R and CD-RW discs.
CD-R/CD-RW discs must first be finalized.

No sound is heard.
GENERAL
Press the PLAY/PAUSE Button.
VOLUME Control is set to minimum.Adjust the VOLUMEControl.
Disc is inserted but tracks are
not displayed.
CD PLAYER
Disc is inserted upside-down.Insert disc correctly (label up).
Disc is seriously warped.Useanew disc
Moisture has formed inside the CD deck.Take out the CD and leave the CD player open for
about an hour to dry.
Disc is dirty.Wipe clean with soft Cloth.
Certains sections of the disc are not
played normally.
Disc is scratched.Skip over scratched sections; otherwise, replace
the disc.
Disc is dirty.Wipe clean with soft cloth.

Power is not on.Replace the batteries.
Programming your CD tracks
In stop mode:
1. Press the PROG button and the track numbers
will start flashing.
2. Press SKIP/SEARCH + or SKIP/SEARCH - to
find the desired track you would like.
3. Press PROG button again and it will save the track
you picked as the first track on your progam.
Repeat steps 2-3 to program up to 20 tracks
Note:
4. Press PLAY/PAUSE button to start playing your
program.
5. To cancel program press STOP twiceor press
the OPEN button.
Note:
You can edit the programmed tracks or add additional
programmed tracks by following the steps above.

Using AC Adaptor
Battery Power
Use (2) “AA” size batteries (Not included)
to power the unit:
1. Remove battery door by pushing down on
tab.
2. Insert two (2) “AA” batteries as shown.
Alkaline batteries are recommended for the
longest playing time.
3. Replace battery door.
WARNING:
Danger of explosion if batteries are incorrectly
replaced. Replace only with the same or
equivalent type.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or
rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
• Replace the batteries when the sound becomes
unstable or cannot be heard.
• When you are not going to use your unit for a
long time, remove the batteries to prevent
damage from battery leakage and corrosion.

Repeat and Random functions
1. Pressing the MODE button shuffles through
REPEAT ONE, REPEAT ALL,and
RANDOM.

The REPEAT modes can be used while playing
programmed tracks see the "Program Play"
section for details on programming tracks.
If RANDOM Play is selected while in Play Mode, the
"RND" Indicator will flash in the LCD. Random
Play will not begin until the next track is selected
using the SKIP/SEARCH Buttons.
If Intro Play is selected while in Play Mode, the
"INTRO" Indicator will flash in the LCD and Intro
Play will not begin until the next track is selected
using the SKIP/SEARCH Buttons.
