4. Getting Started and Operation
4.1 Switching the product on and off
• Press and hold the func bution tton (4) for about 2 seconds to switch the
speaker on or off.
• An acoustic signal sounds and the status LED (11) starts ashing.
Note – Automatic shutdown
• Note wilthat the speaker l automatically switch off after 10 minutes without
action (no audio playback/no uetooth function).Bl
4.2 Charging the battery
Warning – Battery
• Only use suitable charging devices or USB connections for charging.
• As a rule, do not charge devices or USB connections that are defective and
do not try to repair them yourself.
• Do not over thcharge e product or allow the battery to mpletelco y dis e.charg
• Avoid storing, charging or using the vice in extremde e temperatures and
ext mely lore w atmospheric pressure (for example, at high altitudes).
• When stored over a long period of time, batteries should be charged
regularly (at least every three months).
Note
• Do not charge the product using the USB connection on your /laptop. ThisPC
can cause dama to thege USB nnection.co
• Use the included USB ing cable only for this eakercharg sp , and not for
other devices.

• Note water mathat y affect the range and tone of the speaker.
• Charge the speaker fully before using it for the rst time.
• Open the closure roon the Mic -USB port (9).
• Connect the included Micro-USB charging cable to the speaker’s Mic -USBro
port (9).
• Connect the unused nnector on the Micro-USB cha ing ble toco rg ca a suitable
USB cha errg . Please fer ating instructions for there to the oper USB cha errg
used.
• The charging status LED (5) begins to ash blue.
• When battery is fully charged, all fouthe r status LEDs (5) are constantly lit blue.
Note – Charging
• It tak apes prox. 5 s to chour ompletely charge the product.
• The speaker’s battery can be charged whether the speaker is on or off.
• If the battery capacity is ss than 10%, speakele the r will emit two acoustic
signals. You will only receive this information the speaker is on.if
• The actual battery life varies pending on use ofde the device, the settings and
the ambient conditions (rechargeable batteries have a limited service life).
