Please read the following instructions throughly before using this USB power adapter and use it correctly.

Use the rechargeable battery specifi ed in this instruction manual and in the
Hitachi catalogue.
Use of any other battery may result in rupture, leading to injury and/or damage.

Do not disassemble the USB power adapter.

APPLICATION
○
USB power supply via USB terminal
Use to charge your cell phone, etc.
The USB power adapter cannot be used with all products (Apple i-Pod, etc.).
HOW TO USE
1. Attach the USB power adapter to the battery (See Fig. 2)
○
Orient the USB power adapter as shown in and insert the USB power Fig. 2
adapter terminal as far as it will go into the battery terminal.
○
When the USB power adapter is attached to the battery, DC 5 V is output from
the USB terminal and the output lamp comes on.
When the battery power has run down, the output lamp goes off and output
stops. When the output lamp goes off , recharge or change the battery.
○
The output lamp does not go off when the USB device has fi nished charging.
CAUTION
Make sure that the USB power adapter terminal is inserted as far as it will go
into the battery terminal, otherwise no power will be output and malfunction may
result.
2. Connect the USB cable (See Fig. 3)
Flip back the rubber cover and insert a USB cable suitable for the product you
are using into the USB terminal.
3. After use, remove the USB power adapter from the battery
After use, remove the USB power adapter from the battery and replace the
rubber cover on the USB terminal.
The output lamp goes off when the USB power adapter is removed from the
battery.
Important notice on the batteries for the Hitachi cordless power tools
Please always use one of our designated genuine batteries. We cannot guarantee
the safety and performance of our cordless power tool when used with batteries
other than these designated by us, or when the battery is disassembled and

ANWENDUNG
○
USB-Stromversorgung über USB-Anschluss
Zum Aufl aden Ihres Mobiltelefons und ähnlicher Geräte.
Der USB Power Adapter lässt sich nicht für sämtliche Geräte (Apple iPod, etc.) nutzen.
BEDIENUNG
1. Verbinden Sie den USB Power Adapter mit dem Akku (siehe Abb. 2)
○
Setzen Sie den USB Power Adapter wie in gezeigt an, schieben Sie den Abb. 2
Anschlussstecker bis zum Anschlag in den Anschluss am Akku ein.
○
Sobald der USB Power Adapter richtig mit dem Akku verbunden ist, werden 5 V
Gleichspannung am USB-Anschluss ausgegeben, die Kontrollleuchte leuchtet auf.
Bei erschöpftem Akku erlischt die Kontrollleuchte, es wird keine Gleichspannung
mehr ausgegeben. Wenn die Kontrollleuchte erlischt, laden Sie den Akku oder
tauschen Sie ihn aus.
○
Die Kontrollleuchte erlischt nicht, wenn das angeschlossene USB-Gerät komplett
aufgeladen ist.
ACHTUNG
Achten Sie darauf, dass der Stecker des USB Power Adapter so weit wie
möglich in den Anschluss am Akku eingeschoben wird - andernfalls wird keine
Gleichspannung ausgegeben.
2. USB-Kabel anschließen (siehe Abb. 3)
Klappen Sie die Gummikappe zurück, schließen Sie ein zum externen Gerät
passendes USB-Kabel an den USB-Anschluss an.
3. Den USB power adapter nach der Verwendung vom Akku entfernen
Nach der Anwendung trennen Sie den USB Power Adapter wieder vom Akku
und setzen die Gummikappe wieder auf den USB-Anschluss auf.
Die Kontrollleuchte erlischt, sobald der Adapter vom Akku getrennt wurde.
Wichtiger Hinweis zu den Batterien für Akku-Geräte von Hitachi
Verwenden Sie immer unsere angegebenen Originalbatterien. Wir können die
Sicherheit und die Leistung unseres Akku-Gerätes nicht gewährleisten, wenn
andere als die von uns angegebenen Batterien verwendet werden, oder wenn die

UTILIZACIÓN

recargue o cambie la batería.

Asegúrese de que el terminal del adaptador-alimentador USB está introducido

2. Conecte el cable USB (Consulte la Fig. 3)

APPLICATION
○
Alimentation USB via une borne USB
Chargement des téléphones portables etc.
L’adaptateur USB sans fi l est incompatible avec certains produits (i-Pod Apple etc.).
UTILISATION
1. Fixez l’adaptateur USB sans fi l sur la batterie (voir la Fig. 2)
○
Orientez l’adaptateur USB sans fi l comme indiqué sur la Fig. 2 et insérez la borne
de l’adaptateur USB sans fi l aussi loin que possible dans la borne de la batterie.
○
Une fois l’adaptateur USB sans fi l fi xé sur la batterie, un courant de 5 V CC est
émis par la borne USB et le voyant de sortie s’allume.
Une fois la batterie épuisée, le voyant de sortie s’éteint et aucun courant n’est plus
émis. Rechargez la batterie ou remplacez-la lorsque le voyant de sortie s’éteint.
○
Le voyant de sortie ne s’éteint pas à l’issue du chargement du périphérique USB.
ATTENTION
Vérifi ez que la borne de l’adaptateur USB sans fi l est insérée aussi loin que
possible dans la borne de la batterie. Le courant ne pourra sinon pas passer et
provoquer un dysfonctionnement.
2. Connectez le câble USB (voir la Fig. 3)
Rabattez le capot en caoutchouc et insérez un câble USB adapté au produit
utilisé dans la borne USB.
3. Après utilisation, retirez l’adaptateur USB sans fi l de la batterie
Après utilisation, retirez l’adaptateur USB sans fi l de la batterie et remettez le
capot en caoutchouc sur la borne USB.
Le voyant de sortie s’éteint lorsque l’adaptateur USB sans fi l est retiré de la
batterie.

COMO UTILIZAR

A lâmpada de saída não se apaga quando o dispositivo USB conclui o carregamento.
CUIDADO
Certifi que-se de que o terminal do adaptador-alimentador USB está introduzido
ao máximo no terminal da bateria, caso contrário, não será emitida energia e irá
provocar avarias.
2. Ligue o cabo USB (Consulte a Fg. 3)
Vire a tampa de borracha e introduza um cabo USB adequado para o produto
que está a utilizar no terminal USB.
3. Após a utilização, retire o adaptador-alimentador USB da bateria
Após a utilização, retire o adaptador-alimentador USB da bateria e substitua a tampa de
borracha no terminal USB.
A lâmpada de saída apaga-se quando o adaptador-alimentador USB é retirado da bateria.

Quando non è in uso, rimuovere l’adattatore USB dalla batteria ricaricabile.

APPLICAZIONE

Alimentazione USB tramite terminale USB
Utilizzare per caricare il cellulare, ecc.
L’adattore USB non può essere utilizzato con tutti i prodotti (Apple i-Pod, ecc.).
MODALITA’ D’USO
1. Fissare l’adattatore USB alla batteria (Vedere Fig. 2)
○
Orientare l’adattatore USB come indicato in Fig. 2 e inserire il terminale
dell’adattatore USB il più in profondità possibile all’interno del terminale della
batteria.
○
Quando l’adattatore USB viene fi ssato alla batteria, la corrente di DC 5 V viene
emessa dal terminale USB e la spia di uscita si accende.
Quando la carica della batteria si esaurisce, la spia di uscita si spegne e l’uscita
si arresta. Quando la spia di uscita si spegne, ricaricare o cambiare la batteria.
○
La spia di uscita non si spegne quando il dispositivo USB ha terminato la carica.
ATTENZIONE
Assicurarsi che il terminale dell’adattatore USB sia inserito il più in profondità
possibile all’interno del terminale della batteria, altrimenti non verrà emessa
nessuna corrente e si potrebbero verifi care dei malfunzionamenti.
2. Collegare il cavo USB (Vedere Fig. 3)
Girare il coperchio in gomma e inserire un cavo USB adatto al prodotto che si sta
utilizzando nel terminale USB.
3. Dopo l’uso, rimuovere l’adattatore USB dalla batteria
Dopo l’uso, rimuovere l’adattatore USB dalla batteria e sostituire il coperchio in
gomma sul terminale USB.
La spia di uscita si spegne quando l’adattatore USB viene rimosso dalla
batteria.

Controleer alvorens de USB kabel aan te sluiten dat de kabel niet beschadigd is.

TOEPASSING

USB stroomvoorziening via de USB aansluiting
Opladen van uw mobiele telefoon, enz.
De USB Power Adapter kan niet gebruikt worden met alle producten (Apple i-Pod, enz.).
GEBRUIK
1. Bevestig de USB Power Adapter aan de batterij (Zie Afb. 2)
○
Houd de USB Power Adapter in de positie zoals getoond in en steek de USB Power Afb. 2
Adapteraansluiting volledig in de batterij-aansluiting.
○
Wanneer de USB Power Adapter aan de batterij is bevestigd, wordt er aan de USB
aansluiting 5 V gelijkstroom uitgevoerd en gaat het stroomuitvoerlampje branden.
Wanneer de batterij uitgeput is, gaat het stroomuitvoerlampje uit en wordt de stroomuitvoer
gestopt. Wanneer het stroomuitvoerlampje uit gaat, de batterij opladen of vervangen.
○
Het stroomuitvoerlampje gaat niet uit wanneer het opladen van het USB apparaat is voltooid.
LET OP
Let er op dat de USB Power Adapteraansluiting volledig in de batterij-aansluiting wordt
gestoken, anders wordt er geen stroom uitgevoerd en kunnen er defecten ontstaan.
2. Sluit de USB kabel aan (Zie Afb. 3)
Duw de rubber afdekking terug en steek een USB kabel die geschikt is voor het
product dat u gebruikt in de USB aansluiting.
3. Na gebruik de USB Power Adapter uit de batterij verwijderen
Verwijder na gebruik de USB Power Adapter uit de batterij en breng de rubber
afdekking weer aan op de USB aansluiting.
Het stroomuitvoerlampje gaat uit wanneer de USB Power Adapter uit de batterij
verwijderd wordt.
Belangrijke informatie voor batterijen van Hitachi snoerloos elektrisch

Gebruik altijd een van onze voorgeschreven originele batterijen. Wij kunnen de
veiligheid en prestatie van ons snoerloos elektrisch gereedschap niet garanderen
bij gebruik van andere dan de voorgeschreven batterijen, of als de batterij
gedemonteerd of gewijzigd is (zoals demontage of vervanging van batterijcellen of
andere inwendige onderdelen).
