Operating Instruction:
1) Insert t he AC pow er supply cord into mai ns.
2) For Charging: Swi tch t he fun ction swi tch on t he uni t to the "charge"
position.
The individual red LED will light u p when batt eries are inserted in to the
corresponding slot to indicate chargi ng is in progr ess.
3) For Testing: Swi tch th e function swit ch on the uni t to the " test"
position.
The re d LED in the fi rst slot (closest t o the funct ion switch) wi ll tur n off.
Insert t he bat ter y to be tested i nto th e fi rst slot. The batt ery t est lamp
will l ight up to indicate the strength of the battery (very dark /no light for
no power, very bright f or lot s of power). Othe rwise the LED will not light
up. Batteries i n other slot s will conti nue to be charged.
4) For Discharging: Switch the function switch on the unit the "discharge"
position. (Please not e that t his charger can not discharge 9V batteries)
All t he red L EDs (wit h the except ion for the ones for t he 9V bat ter ies)
will g o off to ind icat e bat teries are in discharge mod e.
5) Please note that this is not an automatic charger. The charger does not
swit ch to charge mode automaticall y after discharge. To check if the
bat teries are fu lly discharged, use the "test " feat ure.

For in door use only
This char ger cannot be used with n on-recharg eable bat teries.
Thi s a versatile charger that can charge , discharg e, and test rechargeab le
Ni-Cd batteries.
It can be used wit h a combinat ion of 1-4 pc s of cells of t he fol lowi ng type:
Micro AAA, Mignon AA, Baby C, Mono D. It can also be used to charge 1-2
pcs of Block 9V bat teries.

Charge Current: 120 mA for AAA, C and D size batter ies, 13 mA for 9 V
batteries
