PUSH TO TALK (PTT) Button

CSPM-1:ThemicrophoneisonwhenthePTTbuttonis

pressed.ThemicrophoneisswitchedoffwhenthePTT

buttonisreleased.

CSPM-2,CSPM-4:WhenthePTTbuttonison(pressed),

zonebuttonsareconnectedtothe“G”pinandsound

willberoutedaccordingtothestateofthezonebuttons.

WhenthePTTbuttonisoff,thezonebuttonsareopened

andnosoundwillbesenttoanyzones.

ZONE Button

Pressthezonebuttonstoselectwhichzoneswillreceive

thepagingannouncementoncethePTTbuttonis

pressed.

Anexampleofusingthebuttonsinapublicaddress

applicationis:

1. Pressthe button.Zone 1

2. PressthePUSH TO TALKbuttonandspeak.Your

pagewillbedeliveredtoZone1.

Operation and Application

Maintainagapbetweenthespeaker’smouthandthe

microphone,anddonotexceedthemaximumbend

angle.Onlybendtheexiblepartofthemicrophone.

Inthecaseofmicrophoneswithcardioidpolar

pattern,mostsoundattenuationoccursat180°.These

microphonesshouldpreferablybeusedwherethereis

aninterferencenoisesourceoraloudspeakerdirectly

oppositethespeaker.
