Guide de démarrage rapide pour Transit
Merci d’avoir choisi Transit USB de M-Audio, la solution audio professionnelle et compacte
pour votre système Windows ou Macintosh. Transit USB vous propose de l’audio numérique
24 bits et des fréquences d’échantillonnage oscillant entre 8 kHz et 96 kHz, ainsi que la
souplesse des connecteurs analogiques et numériques optiques. Léger, vous pouvez
l’emmener partout avec vous.
Pour que vous soyez rapidement opérationnel, nous vous fournissons ce Guide de
démarrage rapide, dans lequel vous trouverez toutes les bases de l’installation de votre
Transit USB. La configuration n’étant jamais exactement la même d’un ordinateur à l’autre,
nous vous recommandons donc de lire le manuel de l’utilisateur qui vous donnera de plus
amples détails sur l’installation, la configuration requise et sur la manière d’obtenir des
performances audio optimales.
Pour installer Transit USB :
NE BRANCHEZ Transit USB au port USB de votre ordinateur QUE lorsque vous avez déjà
installé le pilote.
Commencez par insérer le CD-ROM de pilotes Transit USB dans votre ordinateur, et naviguez
jusqu’au fichier d’installation correspondant à votre système d’exploitation. L’exécution du
programme d’installation copiera les fichiers système nécessaires sur le disque dur de votre
ordinateur.
Une fois que l’installation sera terminée, vous devrez redémarrer votre ordinateur. Une
fois l’ordinateur redémarré, connectez Transit USB au port USB de votre ordinateur. Votre
ordinateur reconnaîtra ce nouvel appareil et terminera l’installation du pilote. Votre Transit
USB sera alors prête à être utilisée.

ottici digitali in formato leggero che è possibile trasportare con sé ovunque.
Per maggiore comodità, abbiamo fornito la presente Guida rapida per offrire una panoramica
sull’installazione di Transit USB. Ovviamente non esistono operazioni effettuate allo stesso
modo tra due computer diversi, quindi consigliamo la lettura del manuale di istruzioni per
maggiori informazioni sulla propria installazione specifica, sui requisiti del sistema e su come
ottenere le migliori performance audio.
Per installare Transit USB:
NON collegare Transit USB al computer finché non è stato installato il driver.
Iniziare inserendo il CD dei driver di Transit USB nel computer e passare al file di installazione
per il proprio sistema operativo. Con l’avvio del programma di installazione verranno copiati i
file di sistema di Transit USB nel disco rigido del computer.
Una volta completata l’installazione, verrà chiesto di riavviare il computer. Dopo aver riavviato

Transit Quick Start Guide
Thanks for choosing the Transit USB by M-Audio, the compact, professional audio solution
for your Windows or Macintosh computer. Transit USB gives you full 24-bit digital audio at
sampling rates from 8 kHz to 96 kHz, with the flexibility of both analog and optical digital
connectors in a lightweight form factor you can carry with you anywhere.
In order to get you going quickly, we’ve provided this Quick Start Guide to cover the basics
of installing your Transit USB. Of course, no two computer setups are exactly alike, so
we recommend you read through the Owner’s Manual for more details on your specific
installation, system requirements, and on getting the best audio performance.
To Install Transit USB:
Do NOT connect the Transit USB to your computer until you have installed the driver software.
Begin by inserting the Transit USB driver CD-ROM into your computer and browsing to the
installer file for your particular operating system. Running the installer application will copy the
necessary system files to your computer’s hard drive.
Once you’ve completed the installation, you will be prompted to restart your computer. After
you have restarted, connect the Transit USB to the computer’s USB port. Your computer will
recognize the new device and complete the driver installation. Then your Transit USB is ready
to use.
Connecting the Transit USB:
The Transit USB’s analog output accepts a standard 1/8” stereo mini plug, and can connect to
your powered monitors, stereo system or headphones. Note that you may require a separate
1/8” stereo-to-RCA adapter to connect to your stereo receiver or amplifier.
You may also choose to connect Transit USB’s optical digital output to an available digital
input, such as a DAT or CD recorder. You can then monitor through the digital device.
You may record audio into your computer by connecting an analog input to Transit USB’s
audio input. Alternatively, you can use the supplied adapter to connect an optical digital input.
For further information, please refer to the Transit USB Owner’s Manual on the enclosed CD.
Connexion de Transit USB :
La sortie analogique de Transit USB se connecte à une fiche mini stéréo 1/8” standard et peut
être branchée à des enceintes, un système stéréo ou un casque. Sachez que pour la brancher

Vous pourrez enregistrer des données audio dans votre ordinateur en connectant une
entrée analogique sur l’entrée audio de Transit USB. Pour cela, vous pourrez aussi utiliser
l’adaptateur fourni pour connecter une entrée numérique optique.

Collegamento di Transit USB:
L’uscita analogica di Transit USB accetta mini jack stereo standard e può essere collegata a
