Das DC-Puffermodul derTypenreihebesitzt im Gehäuseinneren ein Ultrakondensator als

Energiespeicher.Dieser Kondensatorwird im Normalbetrieb voneinem externen, geregelten DC-Netzteil

aufgeladen. Bei einerUnterbrechung derDC-Versorgung wird dieEnergie derUltrakondensatoren geregelt

freigesetzt.Die Lastwird vomPuffermodul gespeistbis diesesentladen ist.Die Pufferzeit istvom

Ladezustand des Kondensatorsund dem Entladestrom abhängig.

Das Gerät ist ein Einbaugerät. Der Betrieb ist nur in trockenen Räumen zulässig.

Der zulässige Umgebungstemperaturbereichist einzuhalten!

Im Störungsfall empfehlen wir, das Gerät an den Hersteller zu senden.

Auch lange nach dem Freischalten des Gerätes können noch große Energiemengen im Gerät

gespeichert sein!

Bei der Demontage des Gerätes müssen die Kondensatoren zuerst kontrolliert entladen werden!

Beim Kurzschließen der Kondensatoren besteht die Gefahr starker Hitzeentwicklung und Funkenflug!

Das Nichtbeachten der Sicherheitshinweise kann zu Tod, Körperverletzung sowie Sachschaden führen!

Short description

The DCbuffer module oftheseriesis equipped with an integrated ultra capacitor for

accumulating energy.During normal operationthis capacitorischargedby an external,regulated DCpower

supply. IftheDCsupplyis interrupted,energyoftheultracapacitorsisreleasedina regulatedprocess. The

load issupplied by the buffermodul until it isdischarged.The buffering time depends on the stateof charge of

the capacitor and discharging current.

The buffermodule shows the following features:

Microcontroller based charging and discharging of the ultra capacitors

Monitoring ofoperating mode and state of charge via potential-free contacts and LEDs

Safety Instructions

Read the manual before use respectively installation ofthe unit and follow the instructions!

Nonobservance will cause the lossofany warranty claim!

Installation, start-up, and maintenance work must be carried out by qualified personnel.

The relevant VDE regulations, in particular DINVDE 0100 and EN60204 have to be observed!

Incoming and outgoing cables should have the appropriate dimensions and have to be secured

(Data see)!

The unit is designed for building-in. Operation is permitted in a dry environment only.

The admissible ambient temperature range must not be exceeded.

In case offailure we recommend to send the unit to the manufacturer.

Even a long time after the unit was disconnected a great amount ofenergy may be stored.

Before disassembling the unit the capacitorshave to be controlled and discharged!

When short-circuiting the capacitors there isa risk of heat development and flying sparks!

Nonobservance of the safety instruction can cause death, injuries, ordamage to persons orproperty.
