Important
Read this Important Information leaet carefully before you use the blender and save it for future reference.
Danger
• Never immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid, nor rinse it under the tap. Use only a moist cloth to clean the motor unit.
Warning
• Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
• If the mains cord is damaged, you must have it replaced by Philips, a service centre authorised by Philips or similarly qualied persons in order to
avoid a hazard.
• Do not use the appliance if the plug, the mains cord or other parts are damaged.
• Never use the blender jar or mill beaker to switch the appliance on and o.
• Never let the appliance run unattended.
• This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
• Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Do not touch the blades, especially when the appliance is plugged in. The blades are very sharp.
• Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the food processor or blender as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to a sudden steaming.
• The appliance is intended to be used in household only.
• Do not touch the cutting edges of the blender blade unit when handling, emptying the container and during cleaning. They are very sharp and
you could easily cut your ngers on them.
• Make sure the appliance is properly cleaned. Especially the surfaces in contact with food. Details of cleaning can be found in gure 9.
Caution
• Switch o the appliance and always disconnect from supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling, approaching parts that
move in use or cleaning.
• Never use any accessories or parts from other manufacturers or that Philips does not specically recommend. If you use such accessories or parts,
your guarantee becomes invalid.
• Do not exceed the maximum indication on the blender jar and the mill .
• Do not exceed the maximum quantities and processing times indicated in the relevant table.
• The appliance can only be switched on if the blender jar or the mill is assembled on the motor unit correctly.
Blender
Warning
• Never reach into the blender jar with your ngers or an object while the appliance is running.
• Make sure the blade unit is securely fastened to the blender jar before you assemble the blender jar onto the motor unit.
• Do not touch the cutting edges of the blender blade unit when you handle or clean it. They are very sharp and you could easily cut your ngers on
them.
• If the blade unit gets stuck, unplug the appliance before you remove the ingredients that block the blades.
Caution
• In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching
device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and o by the utility.
• Do not misuse the appliance to avoid potential injury.
• Never ll the blender jar with ingredients hotter than 80°C.
• To prevent spillage, do not put more than 1.5litres of liquid in the blender jar, especially when you process at a high speed. Do not put more than
1.25 litre in the blender jar when you process hot liquids or ingredients that tend to foam.
• If food sticks to the wall of the blender jar, switch o the appliance and unplug it. Then use a spatula to remove the food from the wall.
• Always make sure the lid is properly closed/assembled on the jar and the measuring cup is inserted properly in the lid before you switch on the
appliance.
• Do not let appliance run for more than 2minutes at time.
• Always let the appliance cool down to room temperature after each batch you process.
• Noise level: Lc = 86dB(A)
Chopper
Warning
• Make sure the coupling unit is securely fastened to the chopper bowl before you assemble the chopper onto the motor unit.
• Do not touch the cutting edges of the chopper blade unit when you handle or clean it. They are very sharp and you could easily cut your ngers
on them.
• Never reach into the chopper bowl with your ngers or an object while the appliance is running.
• If the blade unit gets stuck, unplug the appliance before you remove the ingredients that block the blades.
Caution
• Always make sure the lid is properly assembled on the chopper bowl before you switch on the appliance.
• If food sticks to the wall of the chopper bowl, switch o the appliance and unplug it. Then use a spatula to remove the food from the wall.
• Never use the chopper for more than 30seconds without interruption.
• Always let the appliance cool down to room temperature after each batch you process.
Mill
Warning
• Make sure the blade unit is securely fastened to the mill before you assemble the mill onto the motor unit.
• Never use the mill to grind very hard ingredients such as nutmeg, Chinese rock sugar and ice cubes.
• Do not touch the cutting edges of the mill blade unit when you clean it. They are very sharp and you could easily cut your ngers on them.
Caution
• Never use the mill for more than 30 seconds without interruption.
• Always let the appliance cool down to room temperature after each batch you process.
Grinder
Warning
• Make sure the lid is securely fastened to the grinder before you assemble the grinder onto the motor unit.
• Never use the grinder to grind very hard ingredients such as nutmeg and Chinese rock sugar.
• Do not touch the cutting edges of the grinder blade unit when you use or clean it. They are very sharp and you could easily cut your ngers on
them.
Caution
• Never use the grinder for more than 60seconds without interruption.
• Always let the appliance cool down to room temperature after each batch you process.
Note
• To ensure food stays fresh, do not store it in the tumbler for a long term.
Electromagnetic fields (EMF)
This appliance complies withtheapplicable standards and regulations regarding exposure to electromagnetic elds.
Recycling
This symbol means that this product shall not be disposed of with normal household waste (2012/19/EU).
Follow your country’s rules for the separate collection of electrical and electronic products. Correct disposal helps prevent negative
consequences for the environment and human health.
Built-in safety lock
This feature ensures that you can only switch on the appliance if the blender jar, the mill or the chopper bowl is assembled on the motor unit
properly. If the blender jar, the mill or the chopper bowl is correctly assembled, the built-in safety lock will be unlocked.
Overheat protection
The appliance is equipped with overheat protection. If the appliance overheats, it switches o automatically (which might occur during heavy processing jobs or if
the appliance is not used according to the instructions in the user manual). If this happens, rst switch o and unplug the appliance and let it cool down to room
temperature. Then check if the quantity of ingredients you are processing does not exceed the quantity mentioned in the user manual or if something is blocking
the blade unit. Then put the mains plug back into the power outlet and switch on the appliance again.
Warranty and support
Versuni oers a two-year warranty after purchase on this product. This warranty is not valid if a defect is due to incorrect use or poor maintenance.

Recipe
To prepare this recipe, you will need the Mill (Mini-Chopper). It's important to note that the Mill (Mini-Chopper) is not included as a standard
accessory with every model in this product range. However, it can be easily ordered as an additional accessory. For detailed instructions on how to
order accessories, please refer to the dedicated chapter on 'Ordering Accessories' in this user manual.
- 200g Beef ( 2x2x2cm cube );
Put the beef cube in the Mill (Mini-chopper) and use Max. speed for 10 seconds.
