General Safety Rules
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Work area safety
• Do not operate torch in explosive environments, such as in the presence
of ammable liquids or gases.
! WARNINGS:
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Do not shine light directly into a person’s eyes.
• Use only alkaline batteries.
• Do not use different makes of batteries in the same torch.
• Do not immerse torch in liquids.
• Do not expose torch loaded with batteries to excessive heat.
• The battery liquid is caustic and could cause chemical burns to tissues.
If liquid comes in contact with skin, wash quickly with soap and water,
then lemon juice or vinegar. If the liquid comes into contact with your
eyes, ush them with water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek
medical attention.
• Always replace the entire set of batteries.
BATTERY HANDLING
! WARNING!
Do not put batteries into a re or expose to high heat. The batteries can
explode in a re. Follow battery manufacturer’s instructions for storage and
handling. Dispose of batteries according to battery manufacturer’s
recommendations.
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Do not crush or destroy batteries.
• Do not recharge or reuse alkaline batteries.
MAINTENANCE
Use a damp cloth to clean the tool. Never allow any liquid to get inside the
tool and never allow any part of the tool to become immersed in a liquid.
