Batterien nicht ins Feuer werfen, kurzschließen, auseinandernehmen oder aufla-
den. Explosionsgefahr!

Testen Sie keine Batterien, die ausgelaufen oder beschädigt sind.
ACHTUNG

Das eigenmächtige Reparieren, Umbauen oder Verändern des Gerätes ist nicht
gestattet.

Setzen Sie das Gerät keinen extremen Temperaturen, Vibrationen und Erschütte-
rungen aus.
•
Reinigen Sie das Gerät mit einem weichen, leicht feuchten Tuch. Keine Scheuer-
oder Lösungsmittel verwenden!

Vor Feuchtigkeit schützen!
•
Legen Sie die zu prüfenden Batterien polrichtig ein.

5. Inbetriebnahme
•
Es ist keine Inbetriebnahme erforderlich. Das Gerät wird kurzzeitig aktiviert und
nutzt hierfür die Batteriespannung der zu überprüfenden Batterie. Ist die Batterie
vollständig leer, erfolgt keine Anzeige.
6. Bedienung
6.1 Anlegen der Batterie
6.1.1 1,2V / 1,5V / 3,0V - Akkus/ Batteriezellen/Knopfzellen
•
Stellen Sie mit dem Schiebeschalter die passende Spannung (1,2V, 1,5V oder
3V) des vorliegenden Batterietyps ein.
•
Ziehen Sie die orangene Schublade an der rechten Seite waagerecht heraus und
legen Sie die Batterie polrichtig ein (siehe Markierung).
•
Anschließend drücken und halten Sie die die Schublade mit der eingesetzten
Batterie leicht zu, sodass die Batterie zuverlässig beide Kontaktflächen des Bat-
terie-Testers berührt.

6.1.2 9V Blockbatterie
•
Legen Sie die 9V Blockbatterie polrichtig an die beiden Kontakte an der linken
Gehäuseseite an.
6.2 Spannungsmessung
•
Sobald die zu prüfende Batterie mit den Plus- und Minus-Kontakten verbunden
ist, erfolgt ein kurzer Segmenttest.
•
Die Batteriespannung in Volt wird angezeigt. Die Füllstandsanzeige mit farbiger
Skalierung rechts daneben ordnet die gemessene Batteriespannung für den ent-
sprechenden Batterietyp ein:
FULL – Batterie voll
OK – Batterie noch in Ordnung
WEAK – Batterie schwach
EMPTY – Batterie leer
•
Ist die Spannung bereits so gering, dass sie sich unterhalb des Anzeigebereichs
des Batterie-Symbols befindet, wird das unterste Segment im Batterie-Symbol
blinkend angezeigt.
•
Die Anzeige bleibt so lange aktiv, wie Sie die Batterie mit den Kontakten am Bat-
terie-Tester verbunden lassen.
•
Bei Batterien mit sehr geringer Restspannung kann bei einer längeren Messung
ein Spannungsabfall beobachtet werden, der durch die Prüfung verursacht wird.
7. Fehlerbeseitigung

Wenn Ihr Gerät trotz dieser Maßnahmen immer noch nicht funktioniert, wenden Sie
sich an den Händler, bei dem Sie das Produkt gekauft haben.
8. Entsorgung
Dieses Produkt wurde unter Verwendung hochwertiger Materialien und Bestandteile
hergestellt, die recycelt und wiederverwendet werden können.
Batterien und Akkus dürfen keinesfalls in den Hausmüll!
Als Verbraucher sind Sie gesetzlich verpflichtet, gebrauchte Batte-
rien und Akkus zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung beim Handel oder
entsprechenden Sammelstellen gemäß nationalen oder lokalen
Bestimmungen abzugeben.
Die Bezeichnungen für enthaltene Schwermetalle sind:
Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Quecksilber, Pb=Blei

•Clean the instrument with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring
agents.

•Insert the batteries to be tested with the correct polarity.

5. Getting started
•
No commissioning is required. The device is activated briefly and uses the power
of the battery to be checked to operate. If the battery is completely empty, there
is no display.
6. Operation
6.1 Insert the battery
6.1.1 1.2V / 1.5V / 3.0 V - rechargeable batteries / battery cells / button cells
•
Use the slide switch to set the appropriate voltage for the type of battery checked
(1.2V, 1.5V or 3V).
•Pull out the orange tray on the right-hand side horizontally and insert the battery
with the correct polarity (see marking).
•Then press and hold the tray with the inserted battery slightly closed to ensure
the battery touches both contact surfaces of the battery tester.
6.1.2 9 V block battery
•
Place the 9V block battery with the correct polarity on the two contacts on the
left-hand side of the housing.
6.2 Battery power measurement
•
As soon as the battery to be tested is connected to the plus and minus contacts,
a short segment test is carried out.
•The battery power is displayed in volts. The power level indicator with colour-
coded scale to the right classifies the state of the battery for the corresponding
battery type:
FULL – battery full
OK – battery still OK
WEAK – battery weak
EMPTY – battery empty
•
If the power is very low and below the display area of the battery symbol, the lowest
segment in the battery symbol will flash.
•The display remains active as long as you leave the battery connected to the con-
tacts on the battery tester.
•In the case of batteries with a very low residual power, a power drop caused by
the test can be observed during a longer measurement.
7. Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
No display / fluctuating display see disposal ➜ Battery to be tested is empty →

Display Hi/Lo ➜ The measured voltage is outside the selected
battery voltage → Check the voltage specifica-
tion of the battery to be tested and set the slide
switch accordingly
If your device fails to work despite these measures, contact the retailer where you
purchased the product.
8. Waste disposal
This product has been manufactured using high-grade materials and components
which can be recycled and reused.
Never dispose of empty batteries and rechargeable batteries with
ordinary household waste.
As a consumer, you are required by law to take them to your retail
store or to an appropriate collection site depending on national or
local regulations in order to protect the environment.
The symbols for the contained heavy metals are:
Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead
This product is labelled in accordance with the EU Waste Electrical
and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE).
Please do not dispose of this product in ordinary household waste. As

ATTENTION

Vous ne devez en aucun cas réparer, démonter ou modifier l'appareil par vous-
même.
•Évitez d’exposer l’appareil à des températures extrêmes, à des vibrations ou à
des chocs.
•Pour le nettoyage de votre appareil, utilisez un chiffon doux et humide. N’utilisez
pas de solvants ou d'agents abrasifs !
•Protégez l'appareil contre l'humidité !
•Insérez les piles à vérifier en respectant leur bonne polarité +/-.

5. Mise en service
•
Aucune mise en service n'est nécessaire. L'appareil est activé instantanément et
utilise la tension de la pile à vérifier pour son propre fonctionnement. Si la pile est
complètement déchargée, aucun affichage n’apparaît.
6. Utilisation
6.1 Insérer la pile
6.1.1 1,2V / 1,5V / 3,0V - piles rechargeables / piles standard / piles boutons
•
Utilisez l'interrupteur à glissière pour régler la tension de pile qui convient (1,2 V,
1,5 V ou 3 V) pour la pile que vous souhaitez tester.
•Tirez horizontalement le tiroir orange du côté droit et insérez la pile en tenant
compte de la bonne polarité (voir marquage).
•Ensuite, refermez le tiroir avec la pile insérée et appuyez légèrement afin que la
pile touche de manière fiable les deux surfaces de contact du testeur de piles.
6.1.2 Pile de 9V
•
Connectez la pile de 9V selon la bonne polarité aux deux contacts sur le côté
gauche du boîtier.
6.2 Mesurer la tension de pile
•
Dès que la pile à tester est connectée aux contacts plus et moins, un test de seg-
ment bref est effectué.
•La tension de la pile est affichée en volts. L'indicateur de niveau avec son échelle
colorée à droite classe la tension de pile mesurée pour le type de pile correspon-
dant :
FULL – pile chargée complètement
OK – pile suffisamment chargée
WEAK – pile faiblement chargée
EMPTY – pile déchargée
•
Si la tension est déjà si faible qu’elle se trouve en dessous de la zone d'affichage
du symbole de pile, le segment le plus bas du symbole de pile clignote.
•L'affichage reste actif tant que vous laissez la pile connectée aux contacts du
testeur de piles.
•Pour les piles à très faible tension résiduelle, une chute de tension peut être
observée lors d'une mesure plus longue, ce qui est dû au test.
7. Dépannage

Si votre appareil ne fonctionne toujours pas malgré ces mesures, adressez-vous au
vendeur chez qui vous l'avez acheté.
8. Traitement des déchets
Ce produit a été fabriqué avec des matériaux de haute qualité qui peuvent être
recyclés et réutilisés.
Les piles usagées ne doivent pas être jetées dans les détritus ména-
gers.
En tant qu'utilisateur, vous avez l'obligation légale de rapporter les
piles et piles rechargeables usagées à votre revendeur ou de les
déposer dans une déchetterie proche de votre domicile conformé-
ment à la réglementation nationale et locale.
Les métaux lourds sont désignés comme suit :
Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercure, Pb = plomb
Cet appareil est conforme aux normes de l'UE relatives au traitement
des déchets électriques et électroniques (WEEE).
L'appareil usagé ne doit pas être jeté dans les ordures ménagères.
L’utilisateur s’engage, pour le respect de l’environnement, à déposer
l’appareil usagé dans un centre de traitement agréé pour les déchets
électriques et électroniques.
