Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and then save
it for future reference. We reserve theright for any errors in text or images and any
necessary changes made to technicaldata. In theevent of technical problems or other
queries, please contact our Customer Services (see address details on theback).
General instructions
• Never turn thepanel heater on if there are any visible signs of damage (splits/cracks)
on thehousing or themains lead or if you suspect theany hidden damage
(iftheheater has been dropped).
• Thepanel heater should only be connected to a220–240 V wall socket.
• Theexternal surfaces can reach temperatures of over 60 °C.
Safety
When using electrical appliances, thefollowing basic precautions must be followed to
reduce therisk of fire, electric shock or personal injury:
• Warning: Inorder to prevent overheating, do not cover theappliance.
• Theappliance must not be covered by towels, curtains,etc. Theappliance may
overheat if it is covered. Theair intake and outlet grilles must not be blocked.
• Theappliance must never be placed directly beneath awall socket.
• Themains lead must be changed if damaged. Thisis to prevent therisk of electric
shock or fire and should only be carried out by themanufacturer, authorised
service facility or aqualified tradesman.
• Theappliance must never be connected via anon/off timer or other device
which can switch theappliance on automatically since there is arisk of fire if
theappliance is covered or positioned incorrectly.
• Do not use thepanel heater in theimmediate vicinity of bathtubs, showers or
swimmingpools.
• Theappliance must be kept out of reach of children under 3 years of age unless
they are under constant supervision.
• Children between theages of 3 and 8 years must only switch theappliance on/
off provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating
position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
theappliance in asafe way and understand thehazards involved.
• Children between theages of 3 and 8 years must not plug in, regulate and clean
theappliance or perform user maintenance.
• Theappliance becomes very hot duringuse. Burnhazard. Particular Note:
attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.
