1. Safety
•  This light fitting is only suitable for permanent installation and 
should be installed by aqualified electrician.
•  Keep your proper footing and balance at alltimes.
•  Make sure that there are no hidden cables or water pipes in 
theceiling before drilling holes.
•  Read all theinstructions before you install and use thelightfitting.
•  Always turn off thepower before installing, wiring or repairing 
thelight fitting.
•  The light fitting must not be used without thediffuser inplace.
•  Warning: Whenever installing any electrical fittings, basic 
safety precautions should always be observed to avoid therisk 
of fire, electric shock and personal injury.
•   Ifyou drill holes in thefitting it will affect Note:
theIPclassification of thefitting.
2. Product description
•  Ceiling light (IP65). Suitable for industrial use and in facilities 
with high levels of dust, dirt and contaminants.
•  Ideal for garages, machine rooms and stables.
•  Clear UV-proof polycarbonate diffuser.
•  CE-, D- and S-marked.
•  For T8 fluorescent tubes (sold separately).
•  The light fitting has abuilt-in electronic ballast for aflicker-free 
and energy-efficient operation.
•  No glow starters are required.
3. Parts
4. Preparations
•  Remove theinstallation components from inside thelight 
fitting’s chassis.
•  Gather all thetools necessary to perform theinstallation.
•  Select anappropriate location for thelight fitting.
•  Think about theorder in which theparts need to be fitted.
•  Purchase thecorrect type of fluorescent tubes.

1.  Turnthelocking knob (4) to release thechassis plate (3).
2.  Liftthechassis plate and take out theinstallation components.
3.  Unhookthespring clips (2) from thechassis plate.
4.  Readythechassis plate: Pushthefluorescent tube holders (1) 
through thechassis plate, make sure they are secured. 8. Maintenance
•  Always turn off thepower before carrying out any maintenance.
•  You may only replace thefluorescent tube yourself – any other 
repairs should be carried out by aqualified electrician.
•  Only use fluorescent tubes that match thespecifications.
•  Repairs must only be carried out by qualified personnel using 
original spareparts.
Replacing the fluorescent tube
Note: Bearin mind that thetube is fragile and should be handled 
withcare.
1.  Turnoff theelectricity.
2.  Waituntil thefluorescent tube has cooled.
3.  Removethediffuser by opening thesnaplocks.
4.  Turnthefluorescent tube a¼ turn so it can pass through 
theslot in theholder, remove thefluorescent tube.
5.  Fitthenewtube.
6.  Refitthediffuser. Thelight fitting must not be used without 
thediffuser inplace.
9. Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local 
regulations. If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your 
localauthority.

The product conforms to relevant safety standards and is CE-,

5. Assembly
1.  Fitthesnap locks (6) to themounts on thecasing.
2.  Fitthecable gland (8) into thecasing with thethin rubber 
washer on theoutside and anut on theinside. Tighten 
thecable gland so that it does not spin when you tighten 
theouter seal after thecable has been fitted.
3.  Thinkabout how you are going to fix thefitting to theceiling. 
There are two alternatives: Hangit from theceiling on awire/
chain attached to thehanging brackets (6) or hang it directly  
to theceiling on thehanging brackets. 
Alternative 1 
Secure awire or chain to theceiling and to thehanging 
brackets and then adjust thelength of thewire/chain until 
thelight fitting is at thedesired height. 
Alternative 2
a)  Start by measuring where theholes are to be drilled.
b)  Screw thehanging brackets to theceiling using 
theincluded screws and wallplugs.
c)  Check that everything is ready before you push thelight 
fitting into thehanging brackets.
5.  Pressthelight fitting up into thehanging brackets.
6. Electrical connections
Note: Thelight fitting has anelectronic ballast and therefore needs 
no glow starters.
1.  Turnthepower off before beginning any wiring.
2.  Themains cable should have aminimum cross-sectional area 
of 1.5 mm². Thecircuit must be protected by a10 Afuse.
3.  Makesure that thecable gland is fitted properly so that no 
water can enter through thehole.
4.  Passthemains cable through thecable gland. Makesure 
thatthere is at least 17.5 cm of cable inside thecasing of 
thelight fitting.
5.  Connect thewires to thecorrect terminals (L, earth and N). 
Theearth must always be connected.
6.  Tighten thesealing nut on thecable gland. Trypulling 
thecable gently to make sure that it is held firmly by thegland 
and that theseal istight.
7.  Reattach thespring clips to thechassis plate and hold 
thechassis plate against thelight fitting. Lockthechassis 
plate in place by turning thelocking knob.

9.  Carefully fit thediffuser and lock it in place using all 
thesnaplocks.
7. Cleaning
1.  Turn off thepower and wait until thelight fitting has cooled. 
Removethediffuser by opening thesnaplocks.
2.  Clean using asoft cloth. Ifnecessary, moisten slightly with 
water and mild detergent. Never use alcohol, solvent or similar 
agents to clean thelight.
3.  Refit thediffuser.
