Match wires below to the matching function of each wire on your receiver (refer to instructions supplied with receiver). The wire colors of your
new receiver may, or may not, match the wire colors of the adaptor. Match adaptor and receiver wires by function, disregarding color.
Make final wiring connections following instructions on the next page.

Connects to AUX or AV input of new receiver
Black - Connect to Ground Wire of the receiver wiring harness along with Ground Wire from new receiver
Blue - Connect directly to Amplifier Turn-On Wire of new receiver
Ford/Lincoln/Mercury Factory DVD retention harness: The 120 70-5520A allows audio from your vehicle's factory
DVD player through the new receiver's AUX input.
Notes: The 120 70-5520 or 120 70-5521 receiver wiring adaptor and a dash kit will also be required to complete
installation (both sold separately). The new receiver must also have an AUX input. If the new receiver AUX input
consists of a minijack, a minijack-to-RCA adaptor will be required (sold separately).

A. Strip wires back 1/2”.
B. Twist wires together and
insert in crimp cap.
C. Squeeze middle of cap
for tight connection.
