STEP 1 -- MATCH & CONNECT WIRES

IMPORTANT
Before starting, compare items on your invoice with items
received. Thoroughly check packing materials. If an item
is missing, please call
Crutchfield at 1-888-955-6000.
Blue - Power Antenna
Red - 12 Volts Switched Power
Black - Chassis Ground
Yellow - 12 Volts Constant Power
Orange - Illumination
White - Left Front Speaker Positive
Gray - Right Front Speaker Positive
Green - Left Rear Speaker Positive
Violet - Right Rear Speaker Positive
Gray/Black - Right Front Speaker Negative
White/Black - Left Front Speaker Negative
Green/Black - Left Rear Speaker Negative
Violet/Black - Right Rear Speaker Negative
Connect wires below to the matching
function of each wire on your receiver
(refer to instructions supplied with
receiver). The wire colors of your new
receiver may, or may not, match the wire
colors of the adaptor. Match adaptor
and receiver wires by function,
disregarding color.
Your receiver illumination wire could be
Orange or Orange/White. As with other
wires, match this wire to the illumination
wire in the harness by function, not by
color. If your receiver does not have an
illumination wire, tape off the illumination
wire.
Connect the Black wire to the Ground
wire of new receiver.
Connect all Black/White wires together
and secure to chassis of the new
receiver.
Individually tape off any unused wires.
Make final wiring connections following
instructions on the next page.
Subwoofer Input
For best results, the White RCA plug should be
connected to the subwoofer preamp output on
the new receiver.

Center Channel Input (2000-'02 Lincoln LS only)
Subwoofer Input for Mustang
Blue/Red - Connects to both Blue/White
Wires on Amp/Sub harness
Black - Chassis Ground
Blue/White - Connects to Blue/White Amp Remote Wire from receiver
120AFDI5V Converter (packaged separately if required)
Black/White - Amplifier Ground
Blue/White - Amplifier Turn-On
Black/White - Amplifier Ground
Blue/White - Amplifier Turn-On
Amp/Sub Harness
