◆Connect wires below to the matching function of each wire on your receiver (refer to instructions supplied with receiver).
◆IMPORTANT: The wire colors of your new receiver may, or may not, match the wire colors of the adaptor. Match
adaptor and receiver wires by function, disregarding color.
◆Make final wiring connections following instructions on page 4.
Before starting, compare items on your invoice with items
received. Carefully check through packaging material.

CONNECT WIRES
If your receiver does not have a dimmer or
illumination wire, tape off the Orange/White wire.
Individually tape off any unused wires.

This wiring adaptor is for use in vehicles without a factory-equipped
JBL system. It allows the retention of the factory climate controls
when the factory radio is replaced with an aftermarket receiver.

CONNECT WIRES
If your receiver does not have a dimmer or
illumination wire, tape off the Orange/White wire.
Individually tape off any unused wires.
White - Left Front Speaker Positive
Red -12 Volts Switched Power
Yellow -12 Volts Constant Power
Gray - Right Front Speaker Positive
Gray/Black - Right Front Speaker Negative
White/Black - Left Front Speaker Negative
Orange/White - Dimmer
Black - Chassis Ground
Blue -Power Antenna
Yellow, Red & Black wires leading
to Harness # 3 at the opposite end

To harnesses in the dash
To Factory Radio
(concealed in trunk)
◆After making wiring connections for harnesses, conceal factory radio in
the rear of the vehicle.
◆With harnesses 1, 2 and 5 at the dash location, route harnesses 3 and
4 behind passenger's side kick panels and door scuff plates to the
factory radio location. Note: Crutchfield suggests that the radio be
wrapped in foam or a towel and secured behind the passenger side
trunk trimpanel.
◆Plug in harnesses at appropriate locations.
